I saw quite a few uk dirter's in action last weekend at Cov & NIR! WW, Timmy & Sirrob @ Cov. JR333, Mart870 (note finger) & 565 in the Lightning rod WF. Who was Sirrob shouting for as these two headed towards turn 4 on the last lap of the consi?? If you cant see the pics above click here and they are the first 6 in my stoxnet album.

I dont think Emerson hit him, at least not at my end of the track. He did however get a look up the inside as they raced towards the two laps to go borad but this was as close as he got the lead.

Im surprised you have to ask! Mr 647 trying out his new car in practice, didnt seem to bad for what I guess was its first trip around an oval. He raced his selfbuilt Elite in the meeting.

Yeah that's the only downside but hopefully someone might have not seen these said signs and pressed record! (Not that I can condone such behaviour, he who dares and all that! lol.)

Wanted 2004 Barford World Final video footage. Unfortunately problems with the Barford video mans equipment means that there was no official recording of last years World Final at Barford won by Bill Batten, In light of this I have taken it upon myself to hunt down F2 fans who filmed the race from the banks around the track in an attempt to put together a video of the WF race/meeting to keep my own collection (and possibly others) of F2 world final races in tact. Fellow race fan Waz has is also keen to re-live the race once more so much so he has offered his services if people where to forward with footage. Waz has recently started filming at meetings he attends and uploads clips to 'Stoxnets' video page see; http://www.stoxnet.com/videos/author.php?r=587 (Author Waz29) Waz is wiling to edit together any footage that is passed his way, the more footage the better the end product would be. If you do happen to film the 2004 WF or meeting please get in touch with me, it was a good WF race with the likes of Batten,Moodie and Goldin mixing it from the start, Goldin loosing time and clawing his way back only to get into trouble again and again whilst Sworder, Thakra, Kitson, Farrell, Thompson battled away. Just as 167 looked to be home and dry a stoppage bunched the pack up with Batten nearly buried himself on the first bend of the restart Broach slipped by and lead the race despite starting on the back of the grid. Some Batten bumper work moved the local man aside to claim a forth gold on his 57th birthday! Its almost enough to bring a tear to your eye and nearly criminal that a video or DVD of the occasions isn't available/doesn't exist for future generations to see for themselves. Got MN here too BB, he got 2nd (to Sturt) & 3rd in his two heats with no mention of him in the final results. Nice to see a good spread of oval coverage in MN this week, Mallory, Skeggy, Brum (Didn't see Matt Bull there..... ) Barford+Knockhill all covered.(Dave Longhurst pictured in the circuit hotrod things as well.)
