Hi all, Got rF going wheel and pedals set up saloons installed and everything works!!!! Can I race tonight? Site only offers me Bangers F1 and F2 bookings. Do skinpacks work in same way as Heat point and go so to speak and is it ok to use the novice skin? All excited lol Crewesader491

Lo, Looking at getting a new (to me at least) PC for rFactor. Zoostorm, Intel Celeron Dual Core g540 speed 2.5ghz Intel graphics hd2000. Is this ok to run rFactor medium to good? Thanks, Crewesader

Lo all, I know I,m probably being thick (again) but having re-registered ny rFactor account and downloaded all F1 versions and tracks, all no problem, how do I put my controller into game?? I have done the setup part for steering brakes etc. but it just dead when i select a track to try it on?? Any ideas post here or send me a detailed pm lol Crewesader

Lo All, I have a Medion "Double Vibration Controller", a wheel 2pedals gear stick handbrake and 12 buttons on wheel. I have installed the Wheel to my PC ok as it runs Heat no problem, but even though I have put the settings in on rFactor F1 it appears to configure the wheel in game, red parts move etc when doing settings, but when I go to practice there is no control in game? What have I done wrong? Do I need to put a file somewhere to allow controller into rFactor? Crewesader

Lo All, We all seem to be forgetting that the new season doesnt start until March. This suggestion thread is another guide WE as ADMIN will take into account when we have our meeting to discuss the pro,s and cons, of having split start times for meets or run both at same time, there are enough servers to allow this option, but again ALL decisions made by Admin are for the benefit of UKDirt not just UKDirt F1. It would also be nice to hear from those F1 racers who have BETTER suggestions for F1 Thursdays, not just those who 1 suggested method doesnt suit, this is not a dig at anyone who has posted just an appeal for your IDEAS to help out. As you know I am an Admin member so this is my time I give up for the benefit of ALL in our League,s, dont just complain give your views on what you want. Crewesader

PC spec AMD Athlon xp 1800+ 1.53GHz 256 MB of RAM Nvidia GeForce3 113MB Video NOW 1.256 MB of RAM 1MB update from www.crucial.com this site will scan your PC then recommend updates and give options to buy online, I have done this and the delivery is excellent 1MB RAM for £41.11 inc vat and shipping. Graphics Card update to GeForce 6200 256MB of Video from www.pixmania.co.uk New card for just £28.99 inc VAT with shipping £35.69. Hope this is of some use to any one wanting to upgrade their PC ready for rFactor. Crewesader

lo All, Have the F1 version from rFactor site and the new update i.e. both versions PC is AMD Athlon XP 1800+ 1.53ghz 256MB of RAM, running WindowsXP 2002 and service pack2. Uninstalled and re installed and it just crashes to desktop again? Crewesader

Lo All, Not sure if anyone can help(?) but I have down loaded rFactor and it was all ok could get to screen with options to buy try etc., clicked on buy paid with my card and now when I click the desktop icon it tires to start but then crashes back to desktop, any ideas? Are there bits I need to remove or add before I can access it? Have the two versions of F1 but thats about it is I cant get on game. Crewesader
