Thanks to everyone that raced tonight and also to super steward Stumpy and Dan for their help (plus the returning Tom!). Next week is Buxton, see you all then! New rally up in our ever popular league, it's one car this time. The Opel Kadett which is a great little car. 2 stages each on Germany, Greece and Wales, long and short. 28/7/15 18.00pm - 3/8/15 10.00pm League link = https://www.dirtgame.com/uk/leagues/league/...68/ukdirt-rally It's also been good to see how people are getting on so please post below how you are doing.

Thanks to everyone that had a go, 9 finished it and a few more also started so numbers really picking up on this. I managed to come out on top but not by much at all. I really hope Codemasters sorts out the league support a bit more so I can pull results off the website! Next rally up soon.

DON'T use wireless, I don't care if it's BT Infinity, Sky Whatever, Plusnet Yorkshire Tea etc... Just don't use wireless for online racing. and that goes for everyone.

Il'll be crashing on the old stream in a few minutes or so if anyone fancies a laugh... http://www.twitch.tv/grasserns38

For this one, we're going random stages. Service after 2 stages in WRC cars so this will require some thought in how you attack this setup wise. 21/7/15 18.00pm - 27/7/15 10.00pm League link = https://www.dirtgame.com/uk/leagues/league/...68/ukdirt-rally It's also been good to see how people are getting on so please post below how you are doing.

Congrats to Jeyder, who had the S4 going well to a fine win for this one. I hauled the Metro around without losing any doors to second with lloydy third, Mav fourth, Josh 5th and DanW rounding out the finishers. Keep an eye out for the next one!
-
It's the sheer drops on the left through stage one that tends to get me. The night stage was a a pain for some reason as well. I had the Metro and it did feel underpowered particularly up hill and out of tight corners... My one has no upgrades either as I don't "own" it. I would expect a Delta , RS200 or a 205 to be quicker but I was hoping for clean runs in the Metro to give me a chance which didn't happen! I don't know on the upgrades though, I'd have to look into it.

Made a right pigs ear of some of that! Stage 2 was very good though, happy with that. Video below of the run.

No problem, it's no bother to set up. Streaming my effort here in a sec http://www.twitch.tv/grasserns38

Next event is up. Brown trousers time as we're doing the Acropolis in Group B cars... 4WD and RWD as well for the brave. 6 stages as per the last one, but extra services as this one will be more punishing on the car. League link = https://www.dirtgame.com/uk/leagues/league/...68/ukdirt-rally 14/7/2015 20.00pm - 20/7/2015 22.00pm It's also been good to see how people are getting on so please post below how you are doing.

A close run thing in the end, I managed to win overall by about 15 seconds from Jeyder. Josh, Mav, DanW and Aza rounding out the finishers. Thanks again for having a go, the next one will be up tonight.
-
Leaderboard as it stands, 8 have attempted it with 6 completed so far. Event is still up until Monday.

Didn't crash! Struggled on the last stage though... Replay of it is here for a bit http://www.twitch.tv/grasserns38/b/676370882

We had quite a few entries for the last rally so this seems to be quite popular, this time we're doing the Monte in 90's cars... You get the usual Escort, Impreza and Delta along with the Sierra and M3 if you're feeling adventurous. 6 stages this time as well, but only 1 service point at half way so be wary of that. Congrats to Rallycameraman if he's reading this who took overall victory. The league section doesn't keep any results other that the league standings, I do know that Jeyder was 2nd in the Fiesta with myself in a rather battered 306 in third. Next up is the Monte, thread will be up shortly.
-
I thought that, I'm pretty sure it's not MoR himself but Rallycameraman turns up quite a bit on the daily stage leaderboard.
-
Need to ask Codemasters on that one, I'm sure a Woody Traveller is on the cards. Current starters (taken from results of SS1) and total leaderboard as of now. Until they do some sort of exportable results, a screen grab will have to do. 8 have started including Rallycameraman who I am led to believe is one of the main devs at Codemasters. Codemasters taking an interest in UKDirt is a new one anyway! 4 currently have finished the 8 stages with 2 days to go.

It's because you are using a FWD car, the 4WD on the Fiesta is a lot more stable at speed. Depends how you have your wheel as well.
