I went for the 306, and I needed a new front end and radiator for the whole thing after stage 3! What a nightmare that was! Very challenging stages indeed, especially in the FWD cars.

New event up, with the new update, we might as well use the new content. This is on tarmac so should be a bit easier and I've selected the WRC Cars (Fiesta and Mini) and also the F2 Tarmac specials for anyone that wants a challenge. 5 entrants so far, so not too bad. Obviously, some have had problems in the stages but it's not an easy thing and it is very challenging. Couple of days left as well if anyone wants to have a go. You certainly want to be using manual gears Mav, Keeping it on the road and listening to the notes is key. I pretty much drive it on the notes and if they are wrong (and they are in places), it can cause a big issue for me! I will keep sticking events up. I suspect that when the Rallycross stuff is released, there will be a bigger driver base here for it. For the next one, I'm looking at doing the Monte Carlo Rally in Group A cars (Escort Cosworth, Subara and Lancia Delta)

You can pick each stage on the page and see the relative gap, it doesn't show individual times as yet by the looks of it. Not sure, on manual gears (which you want to use) you just go all the way down the gear box. Otherwise, I'm not sure if there is a key binding to set.

Just completed my run, a few offs in Stage 5, 6 and 7 which were annoying but not a bad run. The times were pretty close on some of the stages.

After some interest in Dirt Rally, I've set a league and session up. First of all, obviously you're going to need Dirt Rally. I believe this is on sale atm on Steam so you'll have to be quick if you are thinking of getting it. Secondly, you'll need to sign up to the league. The link below will take you straight to it (Possibly best viewed in IE), once you've joined, it will then appear in game under the league tab. The session is due to start at midnight tonight and will be up until 10.00pm next Monday so there is plenty of time to complete the stages. you do not have to do them all in one go either and can save and exit inbetween stages. There's also service between every two stages. There is NO RESET, if you bin it... you're out, so bare that in mind! That's the good thing about it, you can do it whenever is convienient for you. You don't have to do all the stages at once either.

Congrats to Josh on the final, who got through the early stuff very quickly to set him up for the win. Enjoyed the meeting, my changes to my wheel mounting seem to have done the trick and it was a nice one to return to so thanks to Kris and all the fellow admin!

It was particularly bad in that Mini meeting as I took over proceedings and I totally understand why you left the meeting, and they are the easiest cars to line up! Ironically, apart from someone lining up in the wrong grade, last night was pretty decent for people lining up at least although you were sorely missed from the position of Mr Starter and I certainly noticed your absence. As for the restarting of race while lining up, I don't mind it if someone has dropped connection (A common rF thing when it switches over to race and particularly bad in the NZ mod for some reason). We already refuse to restart for a blown engine as that is the drivers fault. The keyboard freeze thing though totally baffles me, I've been modding and racing rFactor now for a long time and not once have I had a keyboard or mouse freeze up. It's getting really old now with this one, and the relevant people should be looking at a fix for this by now. I echo Dan's comments, and I hope you return to F1's at the minimum at some point of the season (soon).

As Dave has said, you were removed as you were driving around on 3 wheels. If someone did follow you in then a complaint needs to go in. Furthermore, If you are struggling with controlling it or you are having issue with the game with regards to setting it up etc then a PM to admin etc for some help might be useful to you. Everyone starts somewhere and people will help you.
