I like the type of Micras that you and Rikard have. However, I think there are too many Corsas in general, which is why, when I turn 17, I intend to buy one of these...(or possibly a 105E Anglia, whichever I find first). now that, gentlemen, is a totally awesome car. our family had one of those in the mid to late eighties, was solid as a rock and flew fairly well too. could easily outdo a morry thou, tho the rod operated brakes were a tad interesting at times. even managed to get it to Eighty-H miles an hour as the needle swung off the clock once. anyway, my current beast (perhaps wrong choice of word there) is a 1988 Citroen BX

Currently Beta testing. Here are a few sneak peaks All AI drivers, at Ipswich, and only basic screenshots, so they arent that great a quality. Still gives a good idea tho.

yep, was moaning summat about not having a visor for his helmet. seriously tho, windows are an upgrade to reflect the odd tt that does use them. other upgrades currently implented are wheels, splitters, front grill and rear wing, although i hope to add window nets and roll cages soon.

ok guys lets clear this up. im not saying that yuor stuff aint good andy, it is, but as dar as i can tell, thats basically a heat converted car. yes it looks great in rfactor, and miles better than heat, there is totally no argument in that at all, and well done for getting the car in there. what im saying is that a purpose built car for rfactor will look even better than those pics you have posted, cos a purpose built car will be limited by rfactors capabilities not by heats. therefore it will look even better. thats what im saying. perhaps saying that your cars were poor was the wrong expression, but a purpose built car will always knock spots off a heat convert. i know, ive tried to make the heat rods look good, and while they do look a hullava lot better than they do in heat, they still aint as nice as the prupose built cars ive seen.

when its ready, it will be shown. anyway, the F1's arent mine to splash around
-
It is real, just we havent let u lot get ur grubby little mits on it yet as its a hullava long way from finished. but we are working on it, and i can tell you that the pics from andy look quite poor in comparison to some of the work that has been going on this is good, as this is our kinda side project so we dont get bored with going round in circles, and also so we can learn and test new techniques. there are a few group B cars in development, and we are getting well on the way to letting them loose. plus i know of at least 2 WRC cars as well... will keep u posted
-
thats cos my pc is more akin to a piece of stone, and shall we say not the hottest thing going... ask grasser trust me that with a good pc this game does look totally stunning, and everything that MoR has said above it totally correct. this has far more potential than heat
-
yes it is scrappy, and get it from a direct download at rfactor central, not the torrents, as they ares so fast. oh, and get the F1 '79 mod, as it jsut simply kicks arse (forumla one as in ferrari, williams etc not F1 stockers) only a demo at this stage, with 4 cars and 2 tracks, but still totally awesome
