FireStorm replied to Tricky88's topic in Non-League / Off Topic
I would love to race but gotta go into work and don't know what time i'll be back -
Well if she's quicker then Dave does Dave hand the car over to her and let her do a season.

here as much as i hate f1's f2's I'll donate a tenner to each race 3 is it? If you complete the race. I was thinking of making it harder and saying a tenner if you make the top 10 but thats not fair. Can you just give us a quick run down on the ben fund. As being a southerner I've never heard of them.

I've been thinking about it for a few weeks and the death of such a close mate has summed it up. I'm taking a break till next year with the odd meeting here and now. I will race the next banger meeting on tues and then the scc and following hot rod meeting if i have the ban reduced but as for now that will be it for a while. Thanks to all of you and I know I have done wrong and taken the bans and the hits for it. I have really enjoyed the giving and receiving but it is hard work trying to do well when people keep putting you away. I've given it out so I should take it back Thanks again lads and ladys for the fun and i'll see you in 2006 when i'll be reformed and keeping to the rules. Paul "FireStorm" Warren

Its a shame that they are pulling the spedeway but they are only geting half turn outs and costing them lots of money to have a half empty track. Wimbledon isn't the cheapest track to keep open when its empty
-
Its sad news to report that Beech 91 suffered a fatel accident today at bovindon where he was followed in the length of the straight by jethro. My heart goes out to his family and friends
-
ITs gotta be wimbo such a nice track. Never raced it though and doubt I ever will. The old swaffham was good still is good in my eyes. The Icebreaker was allways a very cold one. Often it rained or snowed. Many times i've gone up soaked through and frezzing. Ipswich is a very quick track aswell. Allways watch the national's round that when its dry
-
Nar blackman would have slowed down bunched them up and made them go to outside. Indeed it was a good meeting for N.I boys
-
I give you the lighting rod one as Diggy Smith was on form but just couldn't get past Nigel Jackson But the nationals. Blackman was set to win it. Lead from the start 60 laps in 15 to run and karl boardly breaks failed putting him into the armco he rolled round and collect a couple of drivers on the exit of the bend. The restart blackman got away only for someone to spin causing the reds to come out. He then got a poor start and they got away with blackman dropping to 4th and staying there. If the red's didn't come out it would have been a english win. Dam you Irish there's allways next year

Piet keijzer left life in world cup venray
FireStorm replied to rien rutjens's topic in Real Life Racing
As above really. Was away for the weekend. Come back and see such sad news. A legend in Holland lost his life doing a sport he loved. R.I.P H10 Piet Keijzer of course you can not forget Ed who happened to hit Piet. I hope to see Ed back on the track soon -
haha i like that but its abit of a fast. On the left he's just been fed. On the right he's waiting to be fed

Looking good mate. Slowly taking shape

Just to point out I belive that as of end july that all drivers racing at a spedeworth track has to wear gloves, overalls, Kneck brace, helmet, boots and balaclava. I know at incarace they are very funny over the helmets you use. Sometimes taking them off the drivers till the end of the meeting. At the naiontal's weekend. They was making sure everyone was belted up and helmets on before you was even allowed on the track. They gotta take H & S serious or you could face possible closure.
-
same as above. i suck and didn't see thread. hope ya get well soon mart. don't come back to early though. Gary Sparks did that a few years back in the superstox. Got put in the fence at wimbo big style broke a arm n few ribs, Told to stop racing for a while to heal and he didn't listen got back into a super rod at the NEC n rolled it. Did even more damage to him
-
ouch bad hit there. Glad to see your ok soaps unlucky hunt but little things allways go a miss and are the little things that get picked up when a strip down happens.
-
Surley the back bumper rules should be lowered abit. If he's under breaking the back ends going to be sitting higher. So if he's 1/2" within the rules that will take it up and above the set hight under breaking? Meaning when you go in your going to go under his bumper as its now not in the rules height for the back bumper. But then is there really any need to have your back bumper so high? no advantage is there
-
I don't but i do know jackson 300 did win the 2nd heat and fina at ipswich.

JUST SO PEOPLE KNOW. THERE IS A CAR WITH 4 GORGEOUS BIRDS ON WITH THIER TITS OUT. SO BE WARNED
-
Well Thanks anyway Mr Mechanic!!! However if through your light hearted drinking affair 1 can per hour you can remember I never punched you, it was Simon Berry and Jay Austin that were doing the punching and I was the one who saved your beer on more than one occasion! Remember to repay the favour with mentioning the mother and daughter combo (oops already did) Roll on Hednesford on the 12th August for the Hot Rod Nationals.....If you are man enough to camp and drink loads of beer! 22890[/snapback] Urm you did punch me. Not very well all be it. I suppose we could do that weekend and get drunk for my 21st. Will let you know. Talking of mothers, I wonder how she did on sat at brum
-
Very scary thing to wake upto. I didn't know about it till my mum phoned me and said did you here about the bombings. As I live just outside London I have many friends who work / live in london and thankfully they are all ok. A few was around liverpool street at the time of the bombs but no one was hurt. Mates girlfriend was a carriage away from the bomb at kingscross she had to break a window to get out. Very shaken up but all ok They even closed east croydon train station / high street off due to a bomb scare. which is like 5 mins from me. It really does bring home how lucky some people are not to be killed due to someone's attacks on the uk. II was expecting alot more people to have died on the tubes. Very lucky people who have walked away from it. Of course my heart goes out to the family and friends of the people who died

Urm you will only get the upgrade if BT can provide it. By this I mean how far you are from the local exchange and if your bt telephone line can handle the extra s;peeds.
-
HaHa mr Magpye. Reason for letting your tent down was you punch like a panzy. Not once did your taps hurt. Also when I kicked you a few times to get up at 6:30am you didn't move so packed up tents and kicked you some more. You still didn't move so me and jason let your tent down. see pics below http://www.rapid-gaming.net/oval-racing/sp...M0887-sized.jpg and also cheers to Jay404, Jay Austin, Magpye, Simon Berry, Jason, Hayley and the girls in team pants campsite for the beer and a good laugh. and very unlucky Kevin Randell in the 2lt euro's

Nasty fire. I hope the driver recovers and is back racing soon. wouldn't like to be stuck in that unable to get out
