you need to make sure the mod launcher is pointing to the right folder in nascar heat it should be C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\run or data then run if you still get same thing then maybe someone else can help or search the computer help thread

might work but you could try running the game in 640x480 screen resolution,on the red carma icon right clik on that then properties on next screen clik compatiblity tick the run in 640x480 screen resolution,also change the CARMA2_HW file to run in 640x480 screen res which is found in the folder were you installed the game after changing them both then try the game with 3dfx option on the launcher

i got it on ps3 on launch day not played career mode much,mainly playing the fig 8 tracks and trying to do a some followins,game has gr8 damage but some of the pysics are a bit poo,when trying to do a followin cars stick like glue on the track and also front of you car goes downwards and back of car that gets hit also goes downwards,some oval tracks would of been better aswell

easiest way to join the server is multiplayer then display list of hosts on the right side there will be an option that says cars clik on the std option then clik refresh, list of servers will then show - -Lfs Bangers- - will be there most of time there is somebody on the server during the day and night

i have both and spend more time on the ps3 now mainly on cod 4 online also have resistance fall of man uncharted drakes fortune burnout paradise unreal tournament 3 and got gt5 prologue last week which althou its a teaser for the full game it aint that good imo online is the worst of a driving game ive played no damge on cars and lots of warp single player aint that good either think i'll trade it in and get hot shots golf world tour which looks good and the online play ive heard is superb, now on my 2nd xbox360 after the red lights error

Tried this and doesnt seem to make a difference cheers anyway Any other suggestions? try enabling internet connection sharing on the laptop this should then give ur ip for the xbox
