help !

i have a new laptop with windows vista and desperately want to put the nascar heat onto it, but when i go to install the nascar heat cd it rejects it and the laptop crashes !!

what can i do ?? please help !!

try right click mouse on logo,select properties at bottom of list , then select compatibilty, change it to windows 2000. if they dont work try one of ther others in the list.

 

may be the problem. let us know

ill try that, but i remember as you clicked the logo a pop up appeared saying something like.... CANNOT RUN WITH WINDOWS 2000 or something like that !!

does anyone have an offline championship file/editor, is there 1 still available, i used to have one a few years back, it saves loads of time comming out of the game (offline) to change tracks and back in !

my mate has just had the same problem, he downloaded the heat games and patches, it installs into the pc ok but when you click on the logo the pc crashes. CAN ANYBODY PLEASE HELP !!

It all really depends on exactly what your wanting and ultimately what price you can go to....

Can get various F1 Chassis made,have made Wainman Tar car,Speak Elite Tar car,Speak Cecil Built car,have Speak Elite shale in early process of build

Also made a few F2 Models, Moodie,Middler,Trevor Harris

Can also do Sierra& Sapphire saloons,made Shevill Junior,Mad Mike,Devine,Webster,Purdie,Baldwin,Wilson.Irvine....the list goes on and on

Quite a few banger shells available as well along with Hot Rods

Prices for the Saloons come in at 80 quid plus P&P with 1s and 2s P.O.A

The models are built using 12th scale R/C shells

you don't create them yourself - the modeller will release it usually with the template

they come in the updates for the mod, eg. on the new BWS site, the BWS Updates contain the latest .car files.

not sure about f1 or f2, but loads of .car files can be found here (bangers)

i know this game is mostly now an online game, but would it be possible to have a section for offline use ?

there is a section for non topic use but it dosent cover offline topics. maybe there isnt any people doing skins for offline use like the earlier days, but it would be nice to have a section to post any real life skins that someone might want to make and share.

i know the replies will be like " just join and play online like everyone else " but for me and im sure a few others it isnt possible, and we maybe feel a little left behind. it was ok before as there was always an update for offline every so often which was fantastic, but recently theres been nothing !

there is always the option to paint our own skins to add to the game but they would fall miles below the standard you guys have always set.

so could someone give this a little thought and bring this trully amazing game back into the reaches of everyone ??

get yourself online m8. the racing is much better and more realistic than offline ai cars. you'll get a better challenge all round

id love to mate but i work night shift all the time so that rules me out

i can only play for a while at home in the afternoon, and starting at the back each time gets a bit boring, just think a few changes would be good for offline such as graded starting, championship mode etc !
