  1. Theres a difference between abusing someone & simply stating the fact that you reversed in front of me & effectively ended my race. Cant you tell from the tone of my post that I wasnt abusing you or spitting the dummy out? I was lamenting my poor luck over the last two weeks.

  2. Have to echo Johno's sentiments here, must have run over a black cat recently.Last week i was well placed before Harold wiped me out by reversing across the home straight (seeing the pics again made me wince!) & in the consi semi Big Al grazed me into the tyres (dont worry big man not blaming you in any way it was just racing) & that meant no chance of being on the grid at KL. I was away in the meeting final with about 4 to go when wee dode reversed out of the fence on the home straight right in front of me (spookily close to where Harold wiped me out the week before). These things are disappointing, but im convinced luck evens itself out over the course of the season, & im sure one or two drivers have an axe to grind over my rejoins & general all-round amateurish driving.Good luck to all in the WF in any case, there's always next year for me!

sorry about that done a wheel and hit a post and tried to reverse to the infeild to get out the way and you went round the back of me and i never seen you, wasnt meant just trying to get out the way instead if just sitting there....shame someone needs to spit there dummy and give me abuse :coffee:

Do you have dictionaries in Scotland wee dode? Suggest you look up "Abuse"!

  4. whats the problem with you madcowie and aub in the gn cowie you first take me out !!!! i spun you yes but i got hit from behind.... then aub decides to kamacarzie me for no reason yes i retaliated because it for no reason at all ... this is the reason i was getting fed up with heat and it looks like its coming here now aswell .

Chevy i just watched the GN & you went flat out on the straight after being in a tangle with Aub on lap 14, obviously looking to retaliate on aub, & took me out whilst i was well placed. If you are going for revenge flat outs at least hit your intended target please. :banghead2:

  5. Hi matty,

As demon says, the flcsT pretty much covers that car, and any new chassis additions will be of something a bit different, which is why we put the falding and the lund in the last one (unfortunately there isn't much different out there! And the more 'different' you go, the less it's used, so the more time is wasted lol!). The great thing about the upgrades system in rfactor is it allows us lots of room for getting as many skins as possible onto one chassis and have them all look pretty much correct.

Having said that, the car looks awesome, I love the witts chassis that he's been building since the one I modelled for heat, great shape to them, and the scoops are cool too!

    Thanks,

    MoR

Ok fair enough MoR,maybe the rob harrad NZ style car would be interesting? I am surprised the lundy chassis isn't used more, i used your heat witts chassis & have a soft spot for Ray's cars, they always look great.

  6. Just wondered Al if dropping the special effects down from full (display>special effects) may help. The dust kicked up on shale tracks certainly makes things much trickier, & I would imagine puts a strain on your PC's processor & graphics card chip in the same way as processing shadows does on mine in some games, eg far cry 2 etc. When racing online the processor obviously has to draw in all the other cars & the effects created by them & this may be reason you get that "swimmy" effect. Having plenty of RAM helps & is probably the most cost effective upgrade you can make, 4GB should make rFactor fly at average settings.

  7. What a great idea walker, really interesting to see where everyone does battle from. Heres my g25 setup, although i tend to use paddles on wheel rather than separate gearstick like MoR has set up. Nest of wires looks appalling & is a definite hazard, must get round to sorting them out. The fierce looking blonde is my missus who was shooting me a death-stare at a wedding last year for discussing the 2008 WF during the speeches!

  8. I know this should be in Technical discussion section, but hoped someone who raced at Northampton last night could help me out? I (for the first time) experienced ping problems at both weds & thurs nights meetings. I was around in praccy before the meeting proper last night & experienced no ping issues, where there were upwards of 20 cars in there, yet in the actual meeting I kept on getting the dreaded "syncronising game" message followed by figures of 200 - 873m(!!) at times, & many pointed out i was warping badly. I play other games online, & my ping thurs afternoon was a consistent 18 - 20 m. I have a wired connection, 2MB provided by Pipex with a speedtouch USB modem, just puzzled why this should be happening in Rfactor & nowt else? I use end it all & firewall turned off, no msn or other apps running in background either. Dont want to be having technical issues just as seasons about to start. Any advice or shared problem / solutions would be welcome. Thanks

  9. Would someone who has used one of these wheels for a while now in rFactor F1's please post the ideal settings on the forum, Ive had mine a while yet still seem unable to find a balance between Force Feedback, the realfeel plugin & the dreaded understeer. In addition to the ingame settings screen, the Logitech profiler settings would be ideal, ive included my current profile below. Any advice appreciated!!
