    Mktex

I had problems trying to get Mktex to work so followed Cunny's advice and used TGA 2 TEX instead, works fine for me. There are instructions in the folder 'read me 1st.txt' that will help you out.

  3. Cheers Moo, we'll see if that works.
  4. Can any of you old Pro's help my mate out with his online connection problem? He wants to join UK Dirt but needs to make sure he can get online first. Whenever he trys to connect to a private server his game exits with the log below. Any help or advice would be much appreciated as he's been trying to get online for some time now and has just had his PC upgraded. Cheers. 18.19.437: ====================================================================== 18.19.437: Sep 6 2002 12:09:31 N W32 M6 R senor_b 18.19.437: ====================================================================== 18.19.437: mem: p/s/t t/a 1023M/740M 2462M/2284M 2047M/2025M 18.19.453: JoyBegin 18.19.453: data directory: C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\Data\ 18.19.453: Config Dir: C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\ 18.19.453: Add-on tracks dir: "C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\tracks\" 18.19.453: mod: trying mod "ukdirtbangers"...18.19.453: mod.cfg found ok. 18.19.453: mod: Config Dir override: C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\ukdirtbangers\ 18.19.453: Running on WinNT version 5.1:2600 Service Pack 2 18.30.640: ddraw: created directdraw with ati2dvag.dll (RADEON 9800 SERIES ) 18.30.640: ddraw: version 0.0.0.0 18.31.156: vid: 64 meg card (reported:246.554626) 18.31.156: vid: using AGP textures (123), total: 64 18.31.234: vid: triple buffer on 18.31.265: texture: supports compressed solid texture 18.31.406: mr: 3D performance: 1204 MPix/sec, 17276 KTris/sec 18.31.406: mr: fill rate is AWESOME, poly rate is AWESOME, machine speed is 2104 18.31.562: bink(intro.bik): open failed (Error opening file.) 18.31.593: using sound mixer Sound 18.31.890: Using user driver file 18.41.609: socket: socket() fails! 5. Not sure if you're still after photos but if you are these are the best I have.
  6. I've had problems in the past, but since Sunday it's been fine, nice one Kev.
  7. I'm using Wanadoo 2MB broadband at 17.99 a month, only problem I've ever had is a fault on the BT line which stopped me getting online but no problems with Wanadoo. You could get up to 8MB for the same price depending on where you live, as they upgrade their system. There is an offer on at the moment (ends 31st Jan) where you get the same package for £14.99 a month for the first six months and then £17.99 a month after. http://www.wanadoo.co.uk/time/broadbandacc...internet_access
  8. I still have exactly the same problems as above, it looks as though certain IP addresses are being refused access for some reason. Maybe I'm wrong but that's what it seems like. I must admit I got on here straight away tonight, perhaps something has been fixed while the forum has been down? Time will tell.
  9. Just posting this in case it can help others view the forum or help solve problems the forum is having...if any. Not sure if other members are still having problems viewing this forum but I still am, I have found a way of getting on here eventually. Quite often now I get a blank page when trying to view this forum, if I disconnect from the internet, then refresh and re-connect... the forum appears. Not always first time but it does eventually. I can only assume it's something to do with my connection showing a different IP address every time I connect. Could this be something to do with the problem? Are any IP Addresses banned which could be causing problems for innocent users? Maybe the problem lies with my own setup, not sure, but I don't have any problems with any other sites. I use Wanadoo broadband if that helps.
  10. The Jaguar XJS Eventer V12 Woka raced at Civil War 1. We thought it was going to be a bit of lemon after the first race but he went on to win the Unlimited DD, the car just would not die.
  11. Nice one Moo, that must be my xmas present, the jeep and trailer. Thanks mate, very much appreciated, a hiab would be more practical though.
