Trav, have you tried ringing your ISP, they should be able to check your line, or might even have reduced your speed if you have broken the unwritten usuage rules. Also have you tried changing your ADSL filter (the little gadget that plugs inot your phone socket) as it is quite common for these to go faulty. Also most ISP's reccomend you put a filter on each box (the main one and any that are fitted to extensions) i have found that in reality it is best to have just the one, and place in the socket you actually plug your wireless router into. Like Nezza i dont have a problem with Heat and Vista.

Pedz, can you remember somebody having the same problem with parts of the cars missing during play? I'm sure I've seen it on here and wondered what the solution was. Could it be a graphics card problem? I know you're pretty clued up when it comes to graphics cards etc.

I was away in France for my nieces wedding, those French are a bonkers lot. The wedding was Saturday and barring about 8 hours kip in 3 days we didn't stop boozing till 2.30 am on Tues the day after my birthday.

Sorry for the delayed response.

Is yours a laptop or does it have a Radeon Mobilty card? If so then there is a program than can help you.

The problem lies with the Laptop manufacturers who wont allow the graphics card manufacturers to update the drivers. They reckon that if people use non mobility drivers fro their cards it can cause problems, so they write some code into any driver updates that stop it replacing any drivers that are stamped MOBILITY. A clever German has designed a program that takes this coding out of the driver updates allowing you get the latest drivers installed get it here Its quite a complicated proccess to set up but then easy once its done.
