    Look on the bright side though, I'm not paying to fix the car this time  rofl.gif

    Its nearly time for me to go out and get blown away by those nasty saloon boys but its all in the name of charity at Racewall on the 7th May.

    The reason for posting here today is to advise you of the various ways you can donate to the two great causes that I'm hoping to raise funds for.

     

    A. Raymond Gunn Memorial Fund which raises money to help Raymond's young family.

     

    B. Sick Kids Hospital in Edinburgh. Sick Kids is the chosen charity of Michael Hastie's family. Michael was a young fan who tragically succumbed to illness last close season and we are hoping to raise as much cash as possible in his name to help Sick Kids care for kids when they need it most.

     

    If you would like to contribute to this appeal then you can:

     

    1. Send a cheque to me at 9 Douglas Place, South Parks, Glenrothes KY6 1BA - Please make cheques payable to 'GMP Scotland' and write clearly on the back that its a donation. - Payable at any time before or after the meeting

     

    2. Via Paypal to c102@stockcar.fslife.co.uk and again clearly state its a donation in the messages section. - Payable at any time before or after the meeting.

     

    3. Cash on the day. Come and see us at the car in the pits.

     

    I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has already pledged money and plead to the saloon boys to take it easy on an old boy with young mouths to feed... (Bricking it? Just a little  rofl.gif )

     

    Remember every penny can make a difference for both these worthy causes so please send what you can regardless of how large or small an amount. It will be truly appreciated.

    I am at least trying. Oh and btw, chewy- slagging off someones work(has he done anything?) NO. Trash, whats he modeled? NOWT. Think of what you all say. You do exactly what I do but just slag me off, I am trying to make cars and stuff but all I get in replies when i try is, that thing is too square, naff, rubbish, etc etc. Try making a car or track or anything yourself! Then you will see how hard it is.

    We know we are crap at modelling and don't even try. We leave it to the experts like Moz NickM Hooty Bozz and countless others without whose work we wouldn't have ukdirt. It jumped up little numpties that slag off their work that really pisses us off. If you couldn't smell the irony in my 'naff' post then thats your problem. And I would suggest its not your only one........ thumbs_down.gif

    Last night was the danglies m8.

     

    9 cars per race was ok for personal servers but if NZHeat were to join Ukdirt and get access to Jolt!

    I know moves are already afoot but the only gripe I had was the skins were too similar when looking in the mirror. shrug.gif

     

    Well done to Leek and Trav. I reckon we made a great team with Team 805 winning every race we entered courtesy of LeeK's rodding skills 20.gif , Trav's fencing skills appl.gif and my own abilities at mobile chicanery........ king.gif

    Speaking to Eddie yesterday, he tells me he's out til May at least due to chopping the tendons in his right thumb working on the stockie last week.

     

    Jim Turner was getting the details from him so no doubt there should be something more about this in Turner's Talk on Roger's Pages.
