you wont find a tutorial for modding, im suprised if the post hasnt been deleted. you might find tutorials for "modelling" new cars/tracks. (modding is editing the car file so its quicker/stronger)

maybe make some alterations to the boot and rear panels to make a saloon and or mk2 variation?

surely this topics about how the skins painted and making comments and criticism about the way they're painted. not nit-picking about a driver who changes numbers frequently. if hes racing it on FNB then its FNB's problem to keep up with whos got what number, none of our concern. so... great looking skin. how long did it take? would take me weeks to do anything close to that leech

try really bold numbers so you can add different effects and they are more visible and stand out. fonts like bozz numbers, compact blk, bigred DNA, crillee extra bold itallic, and even arial black. also like the TSB car, should of put it on the new template though and maybe fade the checks around the numbers and text on the doors.

keep having a go if you ask me. its the only proper way to learn how to get cars ingame. im sure people who have finished cars before would gladly help if you get stuck with it.

the damage effect is part of the mk2 granny used template. also to save making a new topic, i heard there was a mk1 escort van floating about but ive never seen it and would like to. so if anyone has the carfile (if it exsists) please drop me a pm with it.

cheers, but it aint gradients, was selected using the point to point selection tool and then erased (i like doing things the hard way plus i aint great at paint shop) and does anyone have a (quite specific) painting guide for photoshop cs3? a mate just got it, i have been trying to help but is difficult to help when i use different soft ware. thanks stig.

as far as i know its just trial and error till you get it in the right place. pretty time consuming but stick at it, would be a nice car to see in game.

hi, i have a box of old(ish) surround sound speakers and a large amount of wire and have been wanting to connect them to the pc for ages. the back of the speakers have clip in sockets where you just put the bare wire in and it closes and holds it in place. i dont have a clue about electronics and stuff otherwise i would of managed my self so any help is greatly appreciated. stig.

i got it today for the 1st time, went on the site to get the new link for forum and it was ok, that was last week or so.

looks good, i attempted this car a while back, and my attempt was pretty pants. this one looks much better .

the bill bob skin looks awesome, i think the roof should maybe be a dark blue instead of black tough very nice . also i normally draw paint drips on with the line tool or you can play about with the warp tool but there are some decals about with them on, which might come in handy, i wont post any up to avoid people arguing over "copyrights".

the car looks awesome haadee may i suggest a mk5 escort van (or something similar like an vauxhall astra van) for small van bangers or a LDV convoy for big vans as we dont have many vans at all compaired to the amount of cars etc.

mondeo looks good, i would make the paint drips under the back window pillar white and run into the green, i dont think it looks right with them the other way round (unless you go in reverse). good skins though
