i believe you can also press compatibility files at the top of the folder window, this should also let you see all hidden files

i have been doing skins for about a year now, you get used to it and where to exactly put the signs to make it look as professional as you can here is one i recently done

and for making decals, its best to get a good big quality pic of one that you like and would copy (of a real car pic) and use the fonts that is the most similar to it, then just fiddle around with blending options till you get it looking as much as the same as you can (thats what i do anyway (hope this helps) cheers ben

Best times are 13.9 but best I managed was 14.026 ( this was at sim-stox )
