i agree with what fbf is saying but to everyone else go make your own template. i made one for the mk1 coupe limo using the mk1 coupe template and mk1 limo. all u have to do is line the panels up and erase a few bits so it blends in. its not perfect but works. [attachmentid=14175]

i havnt got it anymore cos ive been having problems with nascar heat freezing and r factor freezing so i uninstalled r factor and to my anger heat still freezes.

when i had r factor i downloaded the superkart challenge mod. its excellent. gearbox karts drive just like the real thing aswell.

just had a play with no setup and its superb, only thing i noticed was when you do laps on oppo it registers your laptime aswell. not sure if it does this normally. also reverse indicator works fine so must be a bad install on mcrews comp? well done mate will be an epic edition when its completly finished off.

only just seen this. to add to what crewie said i always put three or four bolts through the rear wheel arches. stops the outer and inner skins splitting open and also when u use passenger door plates before u bolt em on weld some thin plate over the door seem thats under the plate thus giving added strength the scrutineer cant see. also use a water tank that bolts to the strut tops and has your bonnet bolts going through it, also makes the front more solid. and on estate cars just behind the b pillar saw out bout 10 mm from the underside of the roof and 10mm from the underside of the chassis rails underneath the car. that way it will send the boot up in the air not down on the back wheels which is a pig to straighten. and finally if u ever race a mk2 granny apparently if u unbolt the steering column, turn it upside down and bolt it back in place it lifts it up a couple of inches allows easier exit for those of us more full fat milk as opposed to semi skimmed.

i snapped the thermostat housing off. only spare i found ( thank you last rites ) didnt fit. dissapointed as we pulled it out a treat aswell. gonna take it to mildo to kill it.

out of all that mcrew i can say that i had a 1980 dolomite 1500 hl that had twin round headlights, was rwd and had twin su carbs so that backs up part of your speech lol.

the car in those pics looks like a sunny estate to me not a coupe. also a dolomite is not fwd unless my rwd one was special.

i remember the program on lwt as a kid called wheels i think. used to show speedway, truck racing and the national hot rod world final weekend. i was there in 1990 bout 15 yards from where the unfortunate accident happened in the salloons when a wheel flew in the crowd and the person died i think. was on daily mirror centre spread. it was then that the high catch fencing was introduced.
