  1. You can upgrade a PC, but buy the sounds of your PC Kendo it would be more economical to buy a new PC as apposed to spending hundreds bringing an old machine up to scratch (which would never be as good as a new one anyway) System Requirements for rFactor # 1.4 GHz processor # Windows 98 SE, ME, 2000, XP, XP 64-bit (will NOT run in Windows 95 or Windows 98 first edition) # 512 MB RAM # Geforce4 4200 or Radeon 9200 # 128 MB video RAM # DirectX 9.0c # 2.0 GB of hard drive space for installation # Internet connection required for one-time activation Everyone seems to think that you NEED a steering wheel to race rFactor, but you don't. I have this steering wheel which cost me £90 a year ago which i never use lol, i'v tried it in Heat and rFactor but i don't like it that much, don't get me wrong its real great fun and all but my lap times are much quicker and easier to control using This my PC game pad, which is also more comfortable and I get a quicker response from it, but you’ll need finely tuned thumbs though When rFactor F1 comes out if it is anything like the other mods then the downloads will be on this site http://www.rfactorcentral.com/ and available for any one to download and any league to run, it shouldn't devalue UK Dirt. Our leagues have great structure and community not to mention we have two super servers, and at the moment it only looks like its gonna be F1's that are gonna switch to rFactor to start off with. If UK Dirt goes onto the rFactor Central with all the other leagues it will good way to advertise us, and may well draw more people into our other Heat Mods, Which can only be a good thing

  8. Thanks guys, after doing the chip sets i have noticed a good improvment in Heat I used this web site that made it all simple: http://www.playtool.com/pages/chipsetdrivers/chipset.html Thanks again
  9. I have had an annoying problem with Heat aswell. I used to run Heat with everything on max, I also turn everything up on max in my graphic cards options aswell (im running the Catalyst Control thing for my ATI card) As i said everything used to run perfect, then one day i had to re-format my hard drive. When i had installed everything back on (and updated all drivers etc) the game runs slow on max, so i have to turn it down quite a bit which is very annoying. I haven’t changed anything in my computer, and it still runs all my other games fine eg FEAR. My computer is 1 year and 9 moths old, its a Dell Dimension XPS Generation 3 Graphics Card - Radeon X800 XT 256 RAM System RAM - 1.5 Gig Processor - Pentium 4 - 3.4 Gig Hertz It doesn't have any Duel Core or anything that fancy. Any ideas? (sorry for hijacking the thread)
  10. i needed them aswell any more .tga's floating around?

  12. Fair enough, didn't think of it that way lol, In that case, give them a limited set up, so that should mean the racing is fun and close, like the Anglia’s but faster!
  13. Looks quality be good to have a formuler thats fast and non contact, but easier to control than the Hot Rods

  17. This should work, you can download the Banger UI from the link below, http://www.filefactory.com/dlf/f/3c8666/b/...eb7d407f90eab9a let me know if it works
  18. Once compressed the file is 35 megbytes, im not sure if its possible to e-mail a file that size, il try anyway though, whats your e-mail?
  19. Not sure if its any help but try reading >here< Think the UI file is too large to upload on here, unless i have the wrong one. Give that guide a go and see if it works then
  20. If you have the Banger mod correctly installed you will have this shortcut icon somwhere [attachmentid=9264] You double click on it, the main screen for the Banger mod is this, and the music Mouldy Old Dough will be playing [attachmentid=9265]
  21. Go into the game, and when you get to this screen click on "Set Up" (highlighted in the red box) [attachmentid=9259] That will take you to this screen, Click the arrow pointing right under the heading "Realism" (highlighted in red) Make sure it says "Expert" like in the picture. [attachmentid=9260] Then go back to this screen and the Garage option will be available! [attachmentid=9261] Rikard

  23. Hello, I think it would be a great idea to have somewhere on the forum a little box or something that shows real time data about the status of our Jolt servers, by this I mean it would show if anyone is in a server. Then you could see if someone is in Jolt and then go in and race, it would be a lot easier then going into Jolt every so often to check if someone’s in there, as the current way its very easy to miss someone waiting. I know we have the section on the forum for posting to let people know they are going in but I think a real time system would work so much better. It should be possible because iv seen it done on other websites that have servers (including Jolt servers). I'v taken the time to make this example, and something like this would look great on the forum. [attachmentid=9237] What are other people views and opinions on this?
  24. i can convert the .tga to a .tex, PM me or post up the file up in the next 15 minutes i can do it.
