Yeah i think Aussie needs a brake lol, Calum, your skins you painted that you showed us looked good, and as Si said you feel more pride when your racing in your own skin, i remember when i first painted my first skin, it took me ages to get it into the game as i was having some difficulty, but then i finaly managed to get it to work, and there it was, my amazing Granada mk2, it was very basic, orange, yellow and silver with nothing special on it, but seeing it there, pride of place on the Wimbledon track i was over the moon, and i kept taking lots of screen shots from all angles. Needless to say that i have come a long way since my first skins, through playing about with photoshop i learnt how to re-size images, cut stuff out and bend and colour text. Your first paint jobs have good potential. Aussie is painting these skins out of the goodness of his own heart, and offers to paint anyone a skin (he painted me a nice one for Polo's meeting ) so please don't exploit his offer. Have a go yourself and post up the results, im sure you will get positive feedback

Some times if you drop a lap top it can damage the insides and slow it down. Somthing i herd a while ago

Thanks for taking the time to put this together, just a quick question: In reguards to servers whats the difference between "Thick" or "thin" servers? people have tryed to say before but im still clueless, Iv tryed searching but found nothing, can anyone please take the time to explain? or can you recomned a website or somthing on the net that will explain everything in detail? cause i hate not knowing lol

How about re doing this Poll? as the current one is a year old, and many people have updated their broad band, a year ago i was running 150k and now im on 1 meg. I think it would be good to increase the limit of cars in Jolt, im not talking about raising the limit for meetings, as this is a different discussion all together, im talking about rasiing the limit for pratice. Before many banger meetings i like to go into Jolt an hour or so t get some last minute online pratice, but more oftern than not the server is full, i know there is another server but no one ever uses that. So it would be good if the limit could maby go from 24 to 30? im sure the server could handel it. People can't complain about being to many cars (im talking about Bangers here) cause in real life there are ofter at the start of a meeting over 30 bangers on track. And at the London Open they were running 40/45 cars a race! So this could maby be put under review? and re-run the Poll? just my surgestions, cheers, Rikard

Its possible, you can just select the part you want to reflect, then copy and past it onto the image, flip it upside down and fade the end bit, but that works best with an object on a horizontal line. So may not be much use for doing a car at an angle with my knowledge. Best place for Photoshop tutorials is to have a look here there are loads to look through and differnt stlyes on the left to look through. Should be somthing there of use!

I had to re-install Heat, and i lost the yellow jacket man, i went to use Damos link but of course the file manager is dead Can some kind soul out there please post up the jacket?

If it used to run fine, but is now slow something has changed. You have have downloaded a virus or someother bad program, i had a dodgy program once that used to do nothing, but it constantly used up 50% of the cpu power. Do a virus scan. your laptop may be running uneccesary background tasks. When your on windows press (on my english keyboard) "ctrl + alt + delete" (at the same time) This will bring up the task manager, then click "processes" and "performance" Then you can see if any other programs are using up the computer power, and if need be you can turn off the prgrams in the "processes" menue. I hope that makes sence
