  1. To paint a car you need the template, this is just a flat view of each aspect of the car laid flat on an image, what ever you put on the template (ie the car) will apear on the 3D version of the car in game. The templates are in a format, the format type is ".psd" this is a layed formate, and you need special software to open the files, the most used sofware is either Photoshop (the best) or Paint Shop Pro, if you don't have either of these installed on your PC when you download the file your PC won't recognise it. If you can't paint a skin yourself someone else will do it for you, you can post a request for a skin on the skin painting section of this forum, click on this There is also a very good forum thats dedicated to skins and other 3D Aspects, click onto the Skin Painting Forum When you post a request make sure to say what you want, like what car, colour, what name and number, and anything else you want on the car. If you do that someone will get back to you shortly. Rikard

  16. In photo shop as you know you can create different editable things like shapes and text, take text for an example, In my case if i create a new layer and use the typing tool to type "Rikard" i can de select it and go work on somthing else, but i can come back to the text layer casue its saved as a text, so you can high light the text and continue to use the editing tools, like highlighting and changing the font, size and style. What ever you do you can come back to the text part and still edit everything and its saved as a text. If you "rasterizing" the layer the text is no longer recogised as text by photoshop anymore, but insted as a picture insted, so then you can edit the image in different ways. But warning, once you have "rasterizing" a layer, you can't convert it back, as in you can't re-change the text style or font using the text editer, hopfully some of this makes sence lol Best thing is to just experement, thats how i found out things Rikard
  17. very nice car mate, especilly for first attempt!! keep up the good work, are you taking a photo of your screen for the screen shots? casue you can press the "print screen" button on your key bord, its at the top next to "scroll Lock" give print screen a press, then open up paint, and press Ctrl + V and it will paste in the image that ws on the screen when you pressed print screen its much better quality and less hassle than taking a photo of the moniter! lol But good skin keep it up!
