i have all downloads updates and skins, this usually happens to people in bangers, 1st time ive seen it happen in ssc. tonight i got one race in practice out of 5 attempts, so it runs sometimes. well annoying, i paid me money to play online and can't.

i keep getting cut off when i go to race in mutliplayer, got this log tonight in ssc. last night same probs with bangers. none of the solution already on forum fix it. any new ideas regards swerve HI. im looking to buy a cheap laptop off ebay to install nascar heat and them ukdirt patches. i was hoping some of you out there are also using a laptop. i don't want to spend alot. i just need enough spec (older models) to run the game and 1 or 2x usb ports for my broadband connection and controller can you give me some laptop brands and names/ models number etc that you are using. so then i know this game will run on them laptops and i can look around to buy a cheap one. hope a few of you can help. give me a bit of choice. i do have a pc, but its in the babys room and i cant really play late nights and we got know where else to put it., atleast i can then boot up a laptop and continue to play thank you

hi. im using paint shop pro 7 , i have managed to do some skins now. when i finished a skin i merge all the layers and flatten and then say as tga file which i then change to tex file for putting into game. the question now is. if i notice problem with car once i see it in game. i go back to psp7 and open the tga file. but where the layers are now merged. when i open the pallete pulldown, i cant change any colours of body panels as the panels are not shown in list. all it says is background. is there a way to ummerge the layers so i can sort my problem back on the templete. hope this makes sense. regards swerve

hi. i have just attempted my first skin, i have painted the car using the guide for painting a skin, which i downloaded from this site. now im stuck. i need to start adding my number and my nickname etc to the car. but im at a deadend now. not sure if i download fonts if so where do i save them, and how do i get to them through paint pro. as i say i used the paint guide, but been looking for a guide to do these bits but can't find one. can anyone give me some help/point me in right direction to a link or something. please help. thanks for your time swerve

thank you. maybe you can help with one other thing. am i missing any banger cars. in the banger manager thingy, where i swap skins. i have 1xmetro , 3xpre 68 , 4 x under 2ltr, 5x unlimted and 2 yanks. but when i use civial war pack i have about 56 cars. is this correct, will more cars be added when new 2006 skins are ready. hope this makes sense cheers you are referring to each individual skinpack. cars come in skinpacks. a deadline is set and everyone must paint their cars to be included in the skinpacks. you must paint a skin for each class: metro, 2litre, pre-68, national and unlimited bangers. then everyone downloads the different skinpacks so that you can use your car when you race. if you would like your cars painting im getting quite good at it. heres an example of one of my cars. give me a shout and ill do them for you and then you have to upload them afterwards yourself. hope this helps, cheers, damo.
