Kruiz, It could also be as simple as someone making or recieving a phone call on the house phone. I found that when the phone was in use others cars would vanish and my connection dip enough for me to warp but not to disco altogether.

Hello, Hope someone can help me out here. Have got a desktop for gaming etc and have got a laptop that I need to add to my wireless network. However!!!! When I plug laptop via ethernet cable to the router no problem straight onto the net but if II try to connect wirelessly it fails to find the router even though it has been added. Could it be a compatability issue? Any help appreciated Ta

Allan, Thanks again for the PC help last night - I really am at a complete loss how I can be warping. I had a ping as low as 32 and highest was 58. Constant download speed with no disco issues and an upload that stayed at 383 all night. Any info at all that anyone can give me would be great.

Thanks - just one other question - when I start/restart my PC now each time it comes up with a black creen asking me to choose either 1. Start in windows XP media mode 2. Start windows recovery mode Is this ok? I just choose 1 each time.
