Thanks to Dan for the meeting and well done to Mike on a dominant final win - a great way to get your gold top season off to a start! Pleased with the way the night went in the end, having clawed it back from being a total disaster after 4 miserable first heats. Speed wise I was certainly very average last night so it was always going to be hard from s/s, but I seemed to get caught up in everything and end up driving my nuts off for 1 or 0 points. That changed in the final heat after a fantastic race with Jack, who was very patient and fair all race, with the battle going down to the last bend. The semi was another good race and the final was fantastic (particually the opening laps, trying to hold the outside line in a great sideways battle with Jack and Southy until Robin took the opportunity to split us up - great move though). Southy was flying all night (2012 season sensation maybe?) and caught and passed me with a textbook hit last but one bend that there was no coming back from, so well done to him on that one. A solid start to the season anyway - I can't race next week, so hopefully be out for Northampton MoR

Possibly, but when I used to the run the skins I used to say as long as it's not a complete copy, with different signs in different styles, then generally I'd let it through, so I painted this car with that in mind - all of the car is original apart from the gold banners on the side and the Skippys on the bonnet. MoR

Hello, After many many months of work, rFactor F1 Stockcars v1.5 is finally finished! This one has been a long time coming, but I think it adds some nice new stuff to the mod ready for the 2012 season. Anyway, here are all the details you need - please take extra care to follow the pre-installation steps because this will ensure everything goes smoothly for you! IMPORTANT!! - PRE-INSTALLATION STEPS Go to your rFactor directory (it is usually found at C:/Program Files/rFactor, but if you're on Windows 7 it may be in C:/Program Files (x86)/rFactor). Go to rFactor/GameData/Vehicles and delete the F1Stockcars folder. Go to your rFactor/UserData/"Your Player Name"/ folder and the delete the files called F1Stockcars.cch and F1Stockcars_league.cch. INSTALLATION STEPS Download and run the installer below. Make sure your rFactor directory is correct when the installer asks you. Thanks, MoR ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NEW CONTENT LIST Wheels Hoosier tyres have been replaced with Goodyear tyres. All shale wheels now appear clean on the spinner but dirty on track White 5 spoke wheels now available on all cars New Cars The 'FWJT' has been added to the mod, which is a replica of the new 2011 Tarmac F1 Stockcar driven by Frankie Wainman Junior 515. Updated Cars The 'LundT' has been completely reworked to match John Lunds current tarmac F1 Stockcar. The 'LundS' has also had a rework to bring it more inline with the real thing and to add some new upgrade options, including a Taylormade wing and unique nerf-rail framework. The 'SmithT' now has 3 new bonnet options. The 'SmithS' now has a new bonnet option (#464-style scoop, also available on the 'SmithX') and a new Wing upgrade option, allowing you swap the custom Andy Smith wing with a standard Taylormade wing. The 'WainmanX' now lets you choose to have sidepod-tops installed without the sides, and a new wing and bonnet upgrade have been added to make the car suitable for the Tom Harris 84 tarmac paintjob. The 'MurrayT' and 'MurrayS' chassis have a brand new bonnet upgrade set based on the current Ryan Harrison 197 tarmac car. Skins 21 new paintjobs have been added to the mod, updating well-known drivers skins and adding some new ones too! This brings the total number of drivers to a whopping 99, the majority of which have shale and tarmac cars!! Please click the Skins tab in game to choose the alternative liverys. Skin Templates Skin templates are now included within the mod in PSD format - they can be found here: rFactor/GameData/Vehicles/F1Stockcars/F1 Stockcar Templates.

I don't think you need be sorry Dan. Just to note, the new F1 update will be out within the week, so if anybody is holding out for that, it won't be long. There's one new chassis (fwjT), both lund cars have been completely revamped (particually the tarmac one which is like a brand new chassis) and upgrade changes to the smithT, smithS, smithX, wainmanX and the murrayS. More details when it's released. MoR

Ok cool, I thought it was still the seeds from the beginning of the season. I'm not fussed either way, I was more concerned somebody that has bothered to race the other rounds would be forced out just because I felt like a go tonight lol.

Go on then, I'll give it a go tonight please. Please remove me from the premier league race - I'd rather keep it open to those who have turned up more regularly for these races this year. MoR

Hello, The 6th grading period for the UKDirt F1 2011 season ended at Buxton last week (29/09) so it's time for a new skinpack. The new grades will be announced soon. Existing Drivers If you wish to change chassis or paintjob, this is your chance to do it, but please do so in accordance to the skin rules on the UKDirt website. New Drivers Welcome! Driver's racing their first UKDirtF1 meetings are invited to upload skins if they wish, but there plenty of variations to choose from if you want to use a novice skin (see the 'skins' tab when selecting your car in rFactor). For new skins: You need to upload a shale car and a tarmac car. On each car, you need to paint skins with all 4 grade colours: white, yellow, blue and red. Zip up the files in a ZIP file and upload them via the Skin Upload Facility in the members section of the UKDirt website. If you have any issues, you can attach them to a post on this thread or PM them to me. If you drive in another formula and this is your F1 debut, or you have raced at other online racing leagues (e.g. Simstox), please get in touch with me so I can pass the info onto the admin team. Any questions, just ask and I'll try to get back to you ASAP. DEADLINE FOR SKINS: 6:00PM TUESDAY 11TH OCTOBER 2011.
