Tried something new, it's not finsihed but I'm not sure if it's even worth finishing!

Also thats almost a copy of a real life skin young lad + the no fear eyes on the front of the air filter guard Not saying you not free to paint your car however you see fit, my car would have been more based on the ssmith car but i deviated on it a bit so it wasn't a real life copy. My F2 was the same aswell until i won the National Points. I am a FWJ fan but like Stuart Smith's car very much so in real life and for that reason I decided to have my tarmac rF F1 based on Smith 390's car and also have the "Cut Maple", "Go Goodwins","Jayne Bean Design & Build" and the "Taylormade Racewings" sponsors on it in the same place as he does. I haven't used the same font for the numbers as the r/l 390 car, nor have I used the same sponsor as he has on the left hand side main panels (Which is the side that is shown in the pic I posted so don't know how you were able to assume it was a r/l skin), my flames are alot different from his, my bonnet is different, my sidepods are different and my wing doesn't have all the same stuff 390's has on it either. I had the no fear eyes on an F1 i painted very recently for Heat and I have them on a HotRod I am painting for rF (Both were done/started before I saw your shale F1 for rF) which is why I used them on my rF F1. Also it is not nearly accurate enough to be classed as a r/l skin imo, although I still like it and yours is nice also but think Dragon's beats them both! I didn't see this post until after uploading this skin as my tarmac car along with a completely different shale car based on an F2 r/l design. If admin want to take a closer look at my car to see if it's ok to upload then that is up to them but I really don't think that is necessary. Martin

Well I have been red longer than any other grade in F1 and have never raced from blue in F1 yet, so gues I just got used to that red paint on my wing But I'll change it to blue

I presumed the wall riding that Mac mentioned was happening at Ipswich and I also presumed that that was the track Allstar's drawing etc was meant for. Sorry if I got the wrong end of the stick. Also I am not saying there shouldn't be posts at tracks like Sheffield, Belle Vue etc because there should as they are there in real life. Sorry if I wasn't specific enough, wasn't criticising your work Free. Marty

In my opinion I don't think adding in a big post just before the corner would help the wall riding situation because not only will it take up more space on the track but when you are racing for posistion and you are on the outside with somebody behind you and the guy on the inside has someone behind him you could easily just end up getting squezed into a post that doesn't even exsist in real life. I think as a first step maybe just putting a rule up stating that if you do this and gain a posistion(s) unless you give the posisiton(s) back immediately then you will be disqualified/loaded and/or banned. Think this would get the message through that wall riding is a big no, no. Marty

Sorry if this is a silly question but how do you zoom in on the view manually when you have the view that shows the rear end of the car? Martin

Went to see how my shale skin looked when in game just now and I noticed that around the outside rim of the scoop and vents on the side of the bonnet were lime green, also on the top of the bonnet there is like a lime green shaddow. Anybody know how to fix it? Or able to tell me what I've done wrong... Marty

Don't mean to hog the thread, but, just thought I would share some more progress being made... Need to finsih bonnet and the crowd side of the wing-need pics for that Need to finish off most of the tar car but already I think it's better than my last attempt...

But! He never threw the first punch atall, he still had his helmet on and Forrest went and smacked his helmet!

Nice skin Demonstate. Here's an update of the #7 shale car. I still need to coachline the bonnet, right side and the back panel of the car, find out what is on the bonnet(pics that show the signs on the bonnet would be much apreeciated) and I need to find out the phone number for Finn-Tec Commercials and add the wee blue triangular sort of shapes that come after the Commercials bit. I have a pic that shows more or less what is on the back panel but once again a clearer pic(if anybody has any)would be apreeciated. Oh yes almost forgot I have one panel on the wing to finish off but cannot make out properly what the blue logo is from the pics I have. Oh yes and here are a couple of pics so far for you guys to critisise...
