A fantastic way to start off 2020 with the New Year Teams Bash. Thanks everyone for racing. The Nelson Tigers topped the points standings after the Heats but the Rotorua Rebels weren't too far behind. The two main teams met once again in the Grand Final but it was a last bend hit that gave the Nelson Tigers victory over their rivals. The new Palmerston North Panthers team for this year started well and showed promise but fell short at the semi final stage. The GB Lions came 4th but only just as the put together Hawkes Bay Hawkeyes team missed out on a Semi Final spot by just 1 point! Last minute booking for the Waikato Wanderers came home in 6th. Tigers - 74 Rebels - 72 Panthers - 46 Lions - 37 Hawkeyes - 36 Wanderers - 19 Semi 1 - Tigers, Lions Semi 2 - Rebels, Panthers Teams Final - Tigers, Rebels It's the NZ Championship next up, Keep an eye out for details of that soon.
