Nick M48 Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 I could have done with decent pics like that when I modelled the roller! I'm always greatful for good quality pics of bangers for modelling purposes, so if you get the chance to get some please do.

Dazza#289 Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 Not bad erik. Is it suppose to be at your track seing as you have tyre's as the wall
racingteamveenstra.nl Posted November 10, 2006 Report Posted November 10, 2006 I have made this real life skin of Thorsten Klaka and he drives in holland. [attachmentid=11080] [attachmentid=11081] [attachmentid=11082]
erik Posted November 10, 2006 Author Report Posted November 10, 2006 (edited) Not bad erik. Is it suppose to be at your track seing as you have tyre's as the wall Thanks, although I don't own a track. I thought I'd use the tyres to make it a bit like Crimond, but its not supposed to be an exact copy of it. Edited November 10, 2006 by erik
Crazy Craig Posted November 11, 2006 Report Posted November 11, 2006 Im all loaded up ready to go to the UKDirt Beech Memorial and the BWS Modellers meeting. Thanks to those who have helped out with templates etc etc
erik Posted November 14, 2006 Author Report Posted November 14, 2006 My XJ6c unloading (I know the render isn't the best).... [attachmentid=11257]
Sparky961 Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 Nice skin and render although on the top one you're back wheels are pointing in a funny direction lol. cheers sparky
Sparky961 Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 Those wheels just look plain wrong guns lol. Skins a topper though, well done... heres my latest offering, tried to change the white floor to make it a 'cove' as used in photography to get rid of any hard lines etc. cheers sparky
jock Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Lets start this off then. 1.Wheres any detail in ANY of your signs . So just looks plain wrong 2.Have you eva saw a banger thats anywhere near the shine like yours.Even the headlight holes shine So just looks plain wrong 3.Whats that blob like thingy on the door .Looks like its been painted on by felt tip pens(knowing your mentality dos'nt surprise me) So just looks plain wrong
Munster Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Chill out m8 I thought the wheels were wrong aswell, the rims look too big for the tyre your using, no need to ''start this off'' His reply was fair, said the skin looked good, I agree the skin is good but the wheels don't look as they should.

I am chilled. And never questioned his remark regarding "The Wheels" I was simply giving him my feedback on his
calum Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 the pikey skin looks good heres mine for .......... i donno comments welcome i no its not great!
Dazza#289 Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 (edited) Not a bad try Calum. Few Problems ( dont take them harshly there just feedback ) 1)The scene Is a bit messed 2)The lighting is a bit on the bright side 3)The reflection is turned up way to much well so it looks to me Like i said please Dont Take these Seriously Its only feedback. If you need help Look at my profile and add me to your msn ill be more than pleased to help Oh and one more thing if you car was to get run in the crowed ( maybe a spelling mistake ) would surely have a scary veiw of things Edited November 16, 2006 by Dazza_2005
Tombo209 Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 I can see both point of guns and sparky, sparkys point is just htey look a bit weird (Maybe because the picture you got the rims from wasnt square on) but the skin and the render its self looks the top. And for sparky the render is nice i see bgb point bout the shine but i wish i could use a floor like that so there is problems in both renders so only my opinion dont take it in a bad way both
calum Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 changed it abit dosent look like it just had a bath of polish
martwisely Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 best get that exhaust looked at m8 Great renders
