Thanks all for a good meeting - well done to Allan for top scoring and Kruiz for the final win - more proof that perseverance and practice does pay off!

Tonight was very up and down for me - I personally didn't like the track - it wasn't really a 'stock car track' and I think that led to peoples frustrations tonight. The nature of the track being so narrow, with tight bends, and the speed you can get up on the straight really 'exaggerated' peoples issues with the mod I think. Much like last week at Wedgeway. And again, there were a lot of complaints at Sexbeirium, again because of all the speed your carrying, and how sideways you have to go there. We didn't see many complaints at KR3W, Birmingham or Belle Vue, and I think thats because those tracks really are what the mod were designed for!

I'll try and crank out Kings Lynn when I get some spare time (hopefully over Xmas, but no promises, still got a week to find out if college piles on the briefs.......).

Anyway, don't be too put off by tonight if you had a bad one

Well done Kruiz on the final and Allan for overall points.

Would like to apologise to Aub again in the GN for wiping him out :banghead2:

Didnt really get into the track, the Shale version is better but as said before, the nature of the track being very long with tight corners meaning a slight hit at the end of the straight caused some huge pileups!

Cheers for the meeting,

Dazza

Cant wait for Kings Lynn MoR. Hope its just like the real thing  I'd rather wait and you make it perfect than make you rush it for Christmas (unless you release a Beta style preview version first)

I actually quite liked the track. But like you say, the high speed and narrow track made for a lot of collisions and damage. Just wait till we get proper post n wire tracks

Cheers boys, quite enjoyed it tonight although took a few OTT hits as your really had to slow down for those corners.

WD Kruiz, i let you by thinking i would follow you til the end, didn't realise there was like 2 laps to go, doh! You were going really well though. :appl:

Thanks everyone

I didn't know what lap it was either Allan, I didn't even have the rev-meter, lap counter or position tracker up as it slows my PC down, soI didn't know when to make my move lol. I had more lag than ever tonight since I downloaded real feel. It seemed to make a difference though, as I actually felt fast and consistant for the first time. It only comes with practise though, as Drumbstick told me. I racked up over 1500 laps this weekend alone at Fareham.

Great race in the final with you Allan, top stuff and well done on top scoring :appl: . I don't think tonights track was the best as has been already said, it lends itself to big hits and pile-ups.

Hopefully the new graphics card should arrive soon then I can view the game with something better than all settings off/low and in 800x600, and still tons of lag lol.

Thanks

Kruiz

I actually enjoyed the racing I managed to do last night, despite not liking the track and no idea how I managed to score so many points only doing 3 heats.

I have no idea how to solve my graphics problem so hope to see people next week but who knows.

Well done Kruiz. :appl:

I liked the track, seemed like Buxton although you could pretend you were racing Baarlo, it felt that fast

I thought it was relatively easy to drive and forgiving for a novice like me.

I enjoyed the racing, the highlight being a few laps of close battling with Tinman, passing & repassing.

I was a bit surprised to get buried by a red from way back when in 5th in the Final, which broke my car, bit of a shame as the more laps the better at the mo.

Looking forward to next Sunday's meeting already.

I'm uploading them both to Filefront now (R7&R8), and yes if you look closely, you will see that the camera's just managed to catch your moment, lol

i find the tracks u have done drum that the fps are alot lower then on other rf tracks, any reason for this? btw what is wrong with card?

I cantthink of any really Pedz, Wedgeway has more background scenery that most tracks but less in the foreground should make up for it.

My graphics issue is almost like tearing, except some textures load, some in the wrong place an dsome not at all and only when there are over 14 cars on track. Rebuilt my PC last night and just waiting for more activations to see if it fixed it. If not it is a new MOBO and chip which will have to wait until after xmas
