G-man Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 Check it out! To top it all off the local council ran out of grit lol. Plenty of sideways action on my way to work, mostly unintentional i can assure you lol.
Knobby Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 I had the Snow on Sunday night / monday morning and come back on the M2 was terrible as it hadn't been gritted! Wish i had a better camera as when i got home i signwrote the the road ! Looked good with KNOBBY written in it about 30 metres long!
G-man Posted February 5, 2009 Author Report Posted February 5, 2009 And i thought i was bad! When i got home from work this morning after the boss decided it wasnt wise to send lorrys out, I went in the garden with the kids and built a snowman. Then i went out the front and had a massive snowball fight with the locals kids!

G-man Posted February 5, 2009 Author Report Posted February 5, 2009 No roundabouts between here and work just a few winding lanes
jamie c Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 no snow ere at all now! its all melted!
Kruiz 136 Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 We had a fair bit, annoyed me more than anything as I'm trying to get my F2 painted ready for the season. Unfortunately our local council still has some salt (unsurprising as we're on top of a salt mine) so all the roads are fine, so no such fun round here. The 6 mile walk home from college is interesting though, there's chavs everywhere with snowballs seeking you out like snipers.
Aub Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 Twas much the same here in sunny bibury gman they reckon the cotswolds had 8 inches worth of snow and that was pleanty to convince me to have the day off
Mart 870 Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 We`ve a few inches! here in Leicestershire too, i got half way to work but then managed to slide the old MR2 down a hill backwards so i called it a day and went home!
ash#832 Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 We had a fair bit hiere aswell! got 4 days of school out of it tho! got 7 inches had a good snowball fight aswell
Jonnyboy295 Posted February 9, 2009 Report Posted February 9, 2009 pics of snow at my place Oh dear, no nookie for Dode, won't be able to see the sheep!
G-man Posted February 9, 2009 Author Report Posted February 9, 2009 Little way to go to catch up dode. We ended up with nearly 12 inches of snow in the end.
