thebagoo Posted May 23, 2013 Report Share Posted May 23, 2013 Hi all, After seeing some of the Cov lap times posted earlier this week, I expected to get nothing tonight but was probably helped by low expectations and some people having bad pings! It's a shame if anyone's meeting was spoiled by server problems. Apologies in the GN for going past you, Evnos - I didn't realise I'd been relegated to last place after my picturesque excursion across the centre green - I'll keep an eye on the running order a bit more in future. Looked forward to this meeting all week but was spoilt by the server problems. I didn't even finished a race - lost connection during the races. Decided to leave after the heats. Don't really know if it's honest to give the people 0 points, because they didn't had a chance to finish a race. Shouldn't be counted in the national points I think but that's my opionon! haha Thanks for meeting though and trying to sort problems out. big al 515 Posted May 24, 2013 Report Share Posted May 24, 2013 I was lucky that I didn't experience any connection problems, I just can't drive the place, I really was awful! The B Final was great with all of us racing real close until I even messed up in that by bringing the back end round too far. It was still a fun night and I am chuffed that Matty has won his first final. Top drive mate and well overdue. Thanks to Jack and the stewards for a very professionally run meeting. southy277 Posted May 27, 2013 Report Share Posted May 27, 2013 Was a good meeting from where I was sat although it sounded like some of the reds were tripping over each other which probably helped me. WD Matty on your final win. At half way into he final I was catching Leek and Jack was catching me, decided that I needed to start making a move so hit Leek going into the bend which started him spinning. Because I had nowhere to go I ended up pushing him round but then he reversed across the track to the outside and held me up. Sorry to Leek! Had a great battle with Jack for 2nd which on the last bend backmarkers nearly helped me but I ended up hitting the back of Jack and pushing him across the line - doh!
