Im well chuffed & happy with my points again after last week getting 2nd,2nd & 1st in heats at Coventry,then 8th in final & grand national. 2nite great 4th place in whites & yellows race from back of the yellows,then well chuffed with my finishes in my heats 2nite 5th,4th & got 3rd wit a last bend hit on h589 then to top it off a really good 4th in final,which I wasn't expecting to get a top 10 finish from bk of yellows & happy with 8th in grand national considering I was struggling at the beginning. Its awesome to see the lower graders leading the way Thanks for bringing it to everyone's attention Obviously GN's are a target nowadays but in the main, I just keep trying at every meeting in the hope I can pick up a few decent results, so we will see at season end how successful I have been. Just have this feeling that I will be pipped to the post but it won't be for not trying As for Hednesford, that was really hard work. I cannot get my car to drift so have to go in tight, wait and boot out again. In practice I was ok on my own, but found it difficult in the meeting to be around other cars. I hung in there most races and was pleased with my heats even tho I did go flying in my third heat whilst 3rd. Final was over in 2 laps but no shock there and the GN was the hardest race of the evening but I survived for an excellent 5th place. Congrats to Stan, DBecks and Kizza ( who should have won the final but for two inconsiderate bacmarkers fighting for 14th and 15th), you all drove exceptionally well all meeting. Ricky, who has given you their setups? You suddenly are driving well and you have stopped asking people for setups in practice. Can't remember last time I didn't make the A final, although I've always struggled around this track still felt I could sneak a few points. Only booked in due to it being a WQR. Thought I'd got a few points on the board in GN after battling hard with leek, think we were both desperate for points at this stage, went to try take 9th off him on last bend only to be wiped out from behind. WD to Tsjalle and Skinner! Stumpy Posted July 10, 2015 Report Share Posted July 10, 2015 Well done to a number of drivers,Danskin(GOAT?)(Greatest Of All Time?)top points scorer,Tsjalle winning the final,very creditable points haul from improving DBecks,good points from Ricky,stan and kizza,Also welcome to new driver colemann good pace for a rookie started from the back and didn't get in anyones way and didn't follow in everyone who passed him unlike some other rookies.Well done to all the fellow admins a few minor problems which were sorted quickly,good meeting to watch again. Dbecks Posted July 10, 2015 Report Share Posted July 10, 2015 Wd tsjalle Wd danskin Really really pleased bout this meeting got a good break in the w&y race with kizza and stan got away got the cornering spot on pretty much and held the gap not bad considering my id move the gear ratio back 1 so it was hitting the limiter just at the start finish line 1st heat i made the mistake right from green to go for it against kizza it cos us time and a badly suffered for it, 2nd heat went better just got a good flow going and didnt look back, Same in the 3rd but saw liam coming with that euro roof charging up to me decided to hold my position as long as i dared to the moved wide with 3 to go as id gladly take a 2nd place. Final did it again i raced kizza but he was too strong and just left me standing gutted to see him in the fence as it was his final i didnt see what happened to him i got lucky mid way in the race with back markers particularly i think simpson on my left mega happy with 3rd and happy with my gn finish too Thanks everyone Thanks admins Thankyou for ur kind words too Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Had trouble with getting setup right during heats but managed to get it right in the final and GN just a shame about what happnened near the end but thats racing. I guess the win in the GN made up for it. Happy with the amount of points i scored as didnt expect to score any. Well done all and thanks admins.
