Can all Admin and drivers give their ideas and opinions on this error which seems to be new this season.

It only seems to happen in jolt, not in private servers but it seems to be affecting more and more drivers.

I know I'm reluctant to race at moment because I don't know if I will be discoed.

Always happens after chat whilst jolt is configuring.

I have tried 95 compatability and that booted me every time.

Cheers

I posted this on another thread......

If you run an anti virus program this could be the problem, I have the same problem if I don't disable all the settings within and then disable the whole program before racing online, I changed the compatibility mode but didn't work. Was many hours later before I figured this to be the problem.

Im using or was using Norton Internet Security 2006, i've since changed back to my old 2003 version for the time being without any problems at all.

That's my experience with the multiplayer error....

not new ranny, just run in 2000 mode that stops it and make sure 1.72e patch is in place. as for norton, i use 06 with no problem. I am in the middle of collecting as many crash logs with answers as i can and maybe get an answers section pinned to this section. this crash log is pretty common and seems to have 2 answers 1. run compatability mode and 2 install the 1.72e patch.

to find more answers use the forum search and look for either "crash log" or " multiplayer suspended".

cheers .

Ive had continuous problems with this both in practise and meetings. Switching compatability (95, 98/ME, NT 4.0, 2000) is only a short term fix as after 5 to 10 online races i get "multiplayer suspended" again. I've got norton05 which doesn't affect either way and 1.72e patch installed. It's very frustrating and i haven't yet managed full night racing. Windows Xp users seem to experience this crash more and as more of us upgrade the problems growing. Its been suggested that american leagues running heat based online games may have more information on this,

Running in 2000 mode means I get booted with error message every time.

Just about give up with it.

Ranny. Is it just bangers or all mods.

Someone on another forum said they cured it by swapping the "options.cfg" from a working mod into a none working one, I cant see that would help but anything is worth a try if you have a working mod.
