  4. when i play the bangers mod it gets to the loading screen, but "heat.bin" crashes. i think it might have something to do with installing monster truck mod yesterday, but i unistalled it today because i didn't think much of it. could it have ripped some of nascar heat or ukdirtbangers out at the same time? heres the error log 33.34.842: ====================================================================== 33.34.842: Sep 6 2002 12:09:31 N W32 M6 R senor_b 33.34.842: ====================================================================== 33.34.842: mem: p/s/t t/a 246M/75M 722M/448M 2047M/2023M 33.34.982: JoyBegin 33.35.013: Joystick 0: "USB 2-Axis 8-Button Gamepad" 33.35.013: joy 0: create_joystick 33.35.013: joy: created 0 as "USB 2-Axis 8-Button Gamepad" 33.35.013: joy 0: turned off deadzone 33.35.013: joy 0: x-effect unsupported 33.35.013: Config Dir: C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\ 33.35.013: Add-on tracks dir: "C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\tracks\" 33.35.013: mod: trying mod "ukdirtbangers"...33.35.013: mod.cfg found ok. 33.35.013: mod: Config Dir override: C:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\NASCAR Heat\ukdirtbangers\ 33.35.013: Running on WinNT version 5.1:2600 Service Pack 2 33.38.117: vid: Allowing 1024x768, regardless of fill rate 33.42.103: ddraw: created directdraw with ialmrnt5.dll (Mobile IntelĀ® 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family) 33.42.103: ddraw: version 0.0.0.0 33.43.114: vid: 64 meg card (reported:121.722656) 33.43.174: vid: triple buffer on 33.43.344: texture: supports compressed solid texture 33.44.456: mr: 3D performance: 288 MPix/sec, 2261 KTris/sec 33.44.456: mr: fill rate is GOOD, poly rate is GOOD, machine speed is 1396 33.46.589: using sound mixer Sound 33.49.603: Using user driver file 33.53.099: name = *Bristol_UK_R.trk/trkshot.img, image = 10cf07c 33.55.792: unloading ui: 61.5 MB 33.55.873: unloaded ui: 61.8 MB 33.59.217: loaded race: 74.0 MB 33.59.608: ghost: Loading trackline *Bristol_UK_R.trk/Bristol_UK_R.gcf (Moz_55) [15.486990 sec] 33.59.778: prog remap: swapping 42 with 40 33.59.778: world: vertex damage 33.59.818: bpp: Track track.bpp should be rebuilt "release" 33.59.818: records: using actual track length: 400.000000 m 33.59.818: skill_range_fudge! 5. looks very good rodder one thing though, i think the grille should be completely flat, coz if it is convex it looks a bit like a corsair although quite a lot are saloons, the grille is the same, so these pics might help i'm not sure if you need these coz i know its a bit late!
  6. that looks absolutely amazing!!! very realistic handling keep it up mate!
  7. heres a skin of my favourite banger driver who usually races at Bristol. i know Lee186 has already made a skin of him but i decided to have a go with an unlimited skin heres the drivers txt table Driver number 198 name Marcus Goldsmith chassis graniie rank 1 race_image 100 body_style ccar wheel_basename mk2black end enjoy! pazza Marcus.zip

  16. i went to that meeting! i tried to get some square on pics of that car, but everyone was crowding round it in the pits. that was the Alternative World final - it was pure quality! very nice car. pazza
  17. would it be possible to spectate online races in real time without racing in them? maybe you could sign in online ready to race, but when the race starts, you get the view like a replay. after all, you get spectators in real-life racing cheers pazza
  18. i tried putting a Mk1 grille on the Mk2 but it didn't work the Mk2 chassis goes in at the front whereas the Mk1 goes out, so it looks weird. if any1 wants a go, the picture of the Mk1 front is attached oh well...
  19. i went to a classic car show on sunday, so i got some more pics of wheels
  20. thats quality! i like the lowered suspension
  21. paintshop pro 9 is on this link http://pic5.piczo.com/675bangers/?g=12792755&cr=5
  22. its probably because you've changed the colour of the passenger side, then copied it. i had this problem, but sorted it by copying the layer in its origninal colour (yellow), then changing the colour, then pasting the new colour on a new passenger side on top in a new layer. hope this helps pazza
  23. so if any1 wants to model the 3 series PLEASE DO! use the photos on this thread and contact me if you need any more pazza@hotmail.co.uk here are some other ideas for new cars cheers pazza
  24. i agree v. well done mate btw does anyone know where i can get a wheel 3ds file so i can start rendering?
  25. i think a 3 series bmw would be a good addition to the large number of current bangers - becoming more common in real racing ... but i can't model! and a triumph 2000 mk1 (could be easy modification of the mk2?) pictures from www.TimandAlex.com cheers pazza
