Some people want to see an example of my work (Apparently!) Having took some time whilst watching the darts, my 'Nearly' finished tar car for 2006, which still has a few wee bits to add (very little..) and maybe, when i look at it again, a few changes...but it's next to finished. If anyone could fire a few renders, in a jeep, of the wing on the car, from a few angles, at the back panel, close up of the sides looking forward from the back, in the Brazil render, or whatever You'll find the TGA HERE in 1024x1024 size Any help much appreciated, Regards, Hack

Any chance of the finished wing? This time, the boxes at the top are done! Just the main body of the car, and maybe something for the top of the wing....but i prefer it clear, or with an image, but that makes it look 'untidy' and i can't get any decent pictures of Sonic, as it's hjard to get them to a transparent background, without it looking 'scruffy'. Always had sonic (don't know why!) on one car or another!

Is it expensive, and the wheels and things easy to get hold of? What about of F2, F1, Hot Rod, Saloon...?

It could be down to a whole number of reasons. Let's be honest, there are hundreds of 'hits' from guests, at all times of the days, and members looking here and there at all times too. Maybe a technical fault, or the 'system' isn't reaching full potential after the 'hack' not so long ago. No one is blaming anyone, and i doubt it's due to 'useless posts'.

Nicely done. Not sure on the wheels, but the renders and skins are of a high quality. SKin looks good because it's so 'plain'. Always good with that

Errr....it's less detailed, and i doubt you'll be able to see the 'name in the number' from far away in a screenshot. Your one to talk about wasting peoples time

I'm still trying to work out who i am

As Frits says, everythings over the other website. It costs £25 for a full year, and can race in as many formulas as you want (depending on waht your into!...and what night your free). You can get a car by someone painting you it (do all the hard part) and then you can read about getting a car in the game (explanations all over the place!) but trying the novice cars, to see what you like. You can choose any number you want from the lsit on the Ukdirt website, after you register. Can only go upto certain nubmers on F1 and Bangers (think it's 5, 600, not too sure) but should effect you on what number you want! You'll get a 'conformation e-mail' when you register, and you can race after that for 2 weeks, just have to keep logging on for the new daley password to get in. There's no meetings as such (read the forum, you'll see if people are organising one to experiment for the new season, or race for fun) Besttime to go in is probably at night ,after about 9, people head in (for whatever mod is on that day). It's fairly easy to start with, buttakes some getting used to! If you have any problems, feel free to post up your concerns, once you mess up for the first few times! and get lost, there's always some numpty to help (Cue the numptys ). Hope you get started soon, and have been practising offline for aslong as possible until your sorted online. It's worth the money, and time....but the burd/partner/wife/girlfriend/bit on the side....will ahve to be put to one side, it gets addictive! Best wishes, Hack

The UI file is about 40 mg isn't it? Or is it more? Can't see why people are trying to blag their way round paying about a £5 for the game?! I would have thought it was illegal....

Me and Corny had lots of joy last night on the Buxton track last night, and the best racing...and him commenting on the 'made up' track, and me giving it the 'what dreams are made of..'. The point being, wether it's 100% correct or not, isn't the issue. It's another track that offers a different racing style, and different approach. Wether it's 'what it drives in real life' or not, doesn't matter. I don't see yellow flags being waved, do you? Just for the record Sparky, i started at roughly the same time as you, having raced plenty before the 'switch' to jolt, and tbh...never seen you in very often (when i was keen, and did race..). I encourage putting 'through the fence', but you have to remember you have to be fast enough to be able to make such a manouvre... Nick, we know Sparky's only a whippersnapper, and i was the same a while ago (still am...to some!!) but sometimes it's a hard learning curve...I don't have a problem with Sparky (or anyone for that matter..). Most people just through things over in jest (Andymec, great example...always gets me in stiches when he 'comments on Sparky'). What i think 'annoys' or 'upsets' people, is just coming up with such ideas. Instead of track changes, which would be just as hard...another 'type of track'. I've yet (so far..) to read that a modeller (bar yourself Nick..) is looking for pics, to attempt a track. It's always someone wanting something done... There's enough tracks in the game, some that aren't used in the league...and the chances of it getting used aren't 100%. With regards to Sparkys Model (s), i thought the Saloon was great but maybe taking a leaf out of (james?!) the guy that's making the Darby Saloon, get on with it, and show off the results (although a progress report always goes down a treat with the addicted! ) Have a good un, and don't take everything personal

Why would i want to try? I have no interest in trying to build a track, i have everything available to me, but it doesn't appeal to me. I seem to complain about people? It wasn't me that knocked AndyG's work, about not being 'near real life', was it? The only finger i'll lift is the 'one fingured salute' to you, son.Â

That's a bit harsh sonny.  I was taking the [b][color=red]FILTERED[/color][/b] Al....Find it overly funny that people can complain, and pick out mistakes, Sparky as a prime example.

Hi, anyone know where i can get a trail, or download some software off a site? I'm looking for some software, trail or not, so i can do spreadsheets for work. Needing some help, i can't find anywhere. Any help apprecaited, Hack

I don't use max, so i can't download them Spoke to Munster earlier, was just seeing if the World Final of any mod was available to stick in Max, for some renders of some grids

Has anyone put any tracks into 3d max, or can't it be done?
