Good weekend, but how many F2's were there? There must have been about 120 or something like that....it was unreal! The F1's on the Saturday and the Saloons on the Sunday were both great to watch, and never short of action all weekend... The weather wasn't the best but it made for some great racing. Big feilds of F2's, over both days....Saturday was much worse than the Sunday, but some lower grade drivers done well. Best moment for me was the first bend of a heat (can't remember which one...) when Gavin Miller went steaming into the first bend and sunk in the canal of water....legendary! H24 was absoloutely flying. The WF was good itself, but Moodie had one chance to stick the bumper in on Kitson, but refused to....once again, happy to settle for 3rd. Probably the only downfall. If Sworder never had a pop at Moodie, he could have been further up....but he done well, as did Burgoyne, who looked quick over both days, probably better in the rain. Frankie ran the show in the onez, no doubt!

I'd love to be as big a big a donkey and forgetful as Ferdinand... ...Be even funnier if he gives you the two finger salute and gives it the 'aye, your right...i do earn more an hour than you do a week'

£500 REWARD, Lyndale F2 Engine Stolen.

Any news on it? There are some dodgy people about, but if it's worth alot of money it should be well looked after. Some little ratbag is always gonna be on the look out for an opportunity, just hope they get it back. Next time, maybe it'll be kept safer and the owner will have learned a lesson. -

I hope Moodie nails the arrogant English diddy -
Hi, Who's all making the trip to the WF? I've got my ticket booked in the Grandstand (Woose..!), wanted a standing ticket, but i'll be seated like a plank (with my flask, and rug....ofcourse Scrapman, why not!?) Will you be there? Will it the the usual crew i'll get to bump into, once again? Cheers, Hack

Some nice new skins there. About the 259 car...has he (or the skinpainter?!) put the European roof on it, or don't they do that in F1's, just curious... The 21 car is probably the nicest there, but every car looks good. Very impressed by the cars people have done, and the 107 car looks good, and well done aswell. Cheers to the guys that have put in the effort, Hack

Atleast there's someone here to make me look bright, and smart....

Sounds like a long day. Anyone got a booking list, or know who's going/not going?
-
Maybe something to do with keeping it standard?

I'm sure he got a one month ban? He misses the World Final
-
You only race for the world final, and if you miss that...that's big enough. You lose if you don't win the world. Game over.

Danny didn't, and never did look happy the whole meeting. I won't call him a cheat, but if others want to blacklist the guy, then fine. He used illegal ways to win. Although e didn't know it, it was still used. Ok, we blame the engine builder.....but what has to be brought into light (that he has had an illegal engine..) is how many meetings it's been like that, and what will happen about that? He never put that engine in for Cowdenbeath, did he? I beleive he's always came up and down the business, and been the fastest car on track. Dannyboy knows his stuff, and is a good driver....but surely people labelling him a 'cheat' will drive him to more success. Blame whoever you want, but...at the end of the day, it's down to the driver

I must have been sipping from my flask, and chilling on my blankey while that shot was being taken

What numpty would stand there?!

Does anyone know who is all booked in for this weekends racing up here? F2's and Saloons? I think it should be one of the best turn outs all year. Who's all making the trip up?!

Awful. Then again, much better than your stunning F2 Yorick

Has Brian Irvine sold his car, or was it only a 'loan' fora few meetings? 85 was going quite well, and it was good to see him doing well, shame Derek Duff held him up for the best of 3/4 laps, but didn't/couldn't do very much when SHevill Jnr past him. I think last night was one of the most boring nights. They done their very best to stretch out the meeting, yellow flag for everything, taking their time getting cars of track. The worst was for the 4 restarts in the first saloons race, even though the track was about to get cleared at the first opportunity, but they were quick out with the yellows (when not needed...). It just drags on. I'm sure the quicker they get the meeting over and done with, the better it would be for everyone. F2's weren't that bad, but i've got to give Robert Newall the biggest woose award, after that showing. It's nice to let a big shiny red roof past but when a 'not so good, but quicker than yourself' comes along, he'll hold his ground, which i was hoping on the ast lap of the final, McMillan Jnr would nail him hard and stick Neall and his 'pretty' car in the wall for being a big jessy. George McMillan Jnr looks to have got the car running well, and got some good places takign a heat and GN double. Ham...152 is just a fud. I left after the Saloon final, but i wouldn't put it past him for being a complet and utter diddy. He gets away with enough in the bangers, and i thought adding the 'cat' on the side of his car was a bit too far. Honestly, the biggest pussy i have seen when it comes to 'racing'. Maybe it's only a matter of time before he gets some of what he gives? To be fair to him....he's unique in being the only person to start the wrogn way around in the layby No wonder everyone hates the mop/mob, whatever you call that pathetic scottish group.... -
