  1. Lol Pedz. I started the night slagging Scrappy off for spending tomorrow birdwatching. Come 8.00pm i was asking for an invite round tomorrow to see his orange chested Goldfinches
  2. F2s Ht1 - 281, 480, 773 Ht2 - 647, 82, 79 Cons - 197, 114, 35 Final - 79, 353, 82, 647, 282, 281, 854, 641, 318, 350 G.N - 82, 114, 282 Saloon Stock Cars Ht1 - 499, 17, 677 Ht2 - 170, 677, 60 Ht3 - 17, 246, 607 Ht4 - 60, 499, 246 F2s seem to have morphed into a non-contact formula at Cowdeneath these days 401 departed 1/2 way through his heat and was not seen on track again all night. Saloon Stock Cars started off ok then went a bit quiet in the latter heats but i'd expect they're saving it for tomorrow. EDIT: Unlucky award goes to Chewy who's hire car was knocked in all directions in the early stages of his first heat through no fault of his own and was unable to reappear all night. EDIT2 : Just read Kelly's post below and i hope all is well with Chewy after his visit to hospital
  3. Don't get too excited. It's not so much a bar. More a cafe that serves warm expensive beer. Better to take your own and drink it al fresco up on turn 3 with us.
  4. Looks like the little'un has done a better lap round Hednesford than me I think i'll try the eyes closed, no hands approach next time out.
  5. Lol Trav. Knockhill on a wednesday. Dedication is one word. Mental is another I'm going away for a few days next week so you've evaded me again..lol I'll see you sometime this year BTW. I know it won't really matter to you but just to let you know there are no saloons on at Knockhill on Wed. Prostox are getting a shot instead, Which is fair enough.
  6. WD Jay Keep it up. I'll come and introduce myself at the spedeweekend.
  7. Lol. Straight to the point Scraps. I suppose you should have known what to expect really. The racing at Cowdenbeath has been like watching live stamp collecting for a while now with just the odd one off like last week. I don't think anyone in particular is to blame for this. My view is a combination of cars being too fast and too expensive, the fear of collecting heavy damage or injury, the threat of the HSE sniffing about if a serious accident happens and just the general layout of the track has taken much of the contact element out of the F2s and saloons. 79 being so far ahead of anyone else isn't helping the F2s at the moment but that's not his fault. It's up to the others to catch up. Saloon wise i think thing's will have to go 1300 sometime but until then at Cowdenbeath anyway i just have to accept that most meetings are going to be poor. The old days like in the havoc dvd's you mentioned were miles better but i suppose in reality things were never going to stay like that forever. Remember the last of those dvds is 10 years old now At the end of the day you either pay your money and go or stay away. Personally i'll keep going to have a beer and a blether with guys i don't see during the week. I'd spend a lot more than £9 in the pub for 4 hours. If the racing happens to be decent now and again...well that's a bonus.
  8. Fair enough. I'ts also splitting hairs or nitpicking. Like i'd be if i highlighted the fact that you've written "apologies for for spamming" in your reply. You'd be a busy boy if you want to do that right through the forum but hey, if that's your thing bash on
  9. Still posting i see HAcK . Only it's slightly more highbrow than before Are you trying to get a job in dictionary corner on countdown
  10. More government departmental rubbish. Another reason i won't be voting next week. It just encourages the overpaid self-important nobodys Petition signed
  11. О дорогой. Грамматика в здесь ужасна. И теперь кое для чего.......полностью отличный
  12. Well Done on your Final win When you learn to post proper words as opposed to shorthanded text style nonsense i'll congratulate you on that as well.

    HELP

Hi As Dazza says you will need to install nascar heat yourself as that is the main game that all the mods are run from. After that all of the Mods, patches, tracks, chassis and skinpacks are downloadable from www.ukdirt.co.uk. The add on disk just saves all the downloading but it is not essential. Hope you get back on track soon

  15. As confirmed by Deane Wood on THIS thread over on ovalchat Spedeworth Southern have taken over the lease on Ringwood Raceway with immediate effect. No point me reproducing it all here. Click and read it for yourselves
  16. Glad to hear you finally made it out and had a good time into the bargain. Keep it up and i'll see you soon
  17. Pretty decent meeting all round from where i was stood. Some good banger racing ( to the visitors who turned up in numbers again and showed the locals how bangers should be raced). The saloons were far better than the last time i saw them. Nice to see 71 do next to nothing on his return from his 47th retirement. Here's hoping that continues. The follow in pictured above was a classic and for a second there was a bit of worry for the guy inside. All was well though and as Andy said the guy seemed quite chuffed with himself afterwards. To GMP for only putting the price up £1 in spite of the large number of visitors. To GMP for putting 57 national bangers out for the world cup on a track that would struggle to cope with 40 stock rods. That was just stupid imo and the inevitable happened with a pile up after 1/2 a lap removing 20 odd cars from the restart. I think the seeding and last chance qualifying numbers need to be looked at next year. My own suggestion would be to seed 30 in and get another 10 from the LCQ races. Didn't detract from an otherwise good night though. P.S Is Mr Grumpy 152 angling for a job as a ball boy at Cowdenbeath games next year? There can't be any other reason for him spending so much time hiding behind the goals. Time for a GMP. His antics are embarrasing
  18. Since the burger van has burnt down Chops any chance of bringing me that left over bit of toast that's on the table in the picture of Molly
  19. I'll be wearing something that's not been ironed and i'll have a beer in one hand and a fag in the other
  20. Lol. We've tried that before Scraps. He couldn't find the stairs.
  21. Congratulations mate. All the best for the future.
  22. I'd definatly head for the kincardine br if your coming from the west. Don't be deceived by the map. It's no longer than the forth road bridge which is hit and miss at the moment but i heard tales of 2 hr queues last weekend. Turn 3 steps are indeed a good place to watch but if your on the 2nd landing up right hand side as you climb them when i get there then it's your funeral. Only kidding. Hope to put some new names to faces
