  1. Well done Hutch. I had a crap night, couldn't catch anyone Going to go AWOL for a few meetings as I'm not really enjoying it at the moment.

I can only alt+tab out of rfactor once, the second time I do it my pc crashes. Got to love my graphics card
  4. Big thanks to Drum for sorting this out on Sunday evening, I would've missed the sim-stox meeting otherwise.
  5. Daz, for me it wasn't a case of not wanting you to win it, just I knew if you got out of striking range my chances of winning were pretty much zero. I've watched the replay and the hit on you was rather strange, seemed totally unjustified.
  6. Congratulations Dan, you drove a great race. I couldn't believe how fast Dazza was in the heats and practice, he walked all the heats even with a half spin in heat 3 so I knew I couldn't let him past in the final else he'd be away and gone again. We both got good starts and Dazza got past me and Dan pretty early on, I just managed to push Dan into Dazza which pushed him wide and Dan and I got back past. Then Dazza and I traded paint for a few laps and I think he half span and lost quite a lot of time. Dan had pulled out about 1.5 seconds on me by then, so I set around trying to catch him and got really close at one point, but kept tangling with people I was lapping, argh! Dazza caught me back up pretty quickly, and after another battle he got past and seeing as we were past half way I realised that neither of us would win like this so I sat behind hoping I could follow his line and we'd drag each other closer to Dan. Unfortunately we spent the next 5 laps getting tangled with every car on the track (it seemed) and Dan won by a mile . Great meeting, and I love that track (even if Daz is 1/4 second faster than me!?)
  7. Busiest times are before a meeting, so Thursday nights on UK Dirt and Sunday nights on Sim Stox.
  8. Was a great hit whoever it was btw, took me completely by surprise, I very nearly dropped it which would have been rather embarassing
  9. On a seperate note (and sorry for whining), perhaps you could have waited a bit longer for those of us struggling to get into heat 1. A 13 car heat isn't great. There was never going to be a consolation and the meeting was over before 8.30.
  10. Cheers all. I got moaned at for burying people in the final but I've watched the replay and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to have done, but I didn't hit anyone any harder than I got hit by the whites at the start of the GN!! Sorryish for the spin Spike, I had a choice to either back off and let you collect it then try and push you wide at the next bend, or spin you round. I had someone breathing down my neck so I opted for the spin, I figured we'd both end up in the fence otherwise!
  11. I'm booked in but I'm going to struggle to make it for 7.30 again, I should be there for heat 2 hopefully.
  12. I changed it from enter to a button on my wheel. Then you can flip through the info when you're racing. I tend to have the gap between me and other drivers up during a race, it helps me know how hard to push.
  13. Busted a gut to get home and sorted in time for the 7.30 meetings so far, but just ran out of time tonight. Not a great fan of Lynn either, straights are too short for decent racing imo. I think the league is great, meetings are done and dusted in an hourish normally, I think numbers are as high as can be expected considering lots of people in this community have very low spec computers.
  14. Can you list your PC spec? Memory, processor, graphics card?
  15. Of course, but I think you've experienced the chaos of Skegness online... not the best track for a debut.
  16. Great meeting, Bradford has enough width so you can avoid crashes making it an ideal track for novices to get the hang of rfactor. Bit gutted in the final, I was doing pretty well and hit a car at about 85mph Really good racing throughout though.
  17. Argh, I battled my way through to 3rd in the final after a terrible start then drove straight into a tyre trying to avoid a spun car! Still enjoyed it, did well for me.
  18. I can just squeak below 13 seconds, the fast guys are doing 12.7/8s.
  19. Hehe, I just missed LeeK on the last bend in the final too, never mind
  20. Johno, you do a great job, but why oh why don't you use the quick chat function? Just assign the three commands to numpad 1,2 and 3 or something - then no typing is needed.
  21. When will we be able to see the points tables?
  22. Woohoo, I was really frustrated on Sunday cos I knew I had the pace for a decent result round Brandford but I kept getting taken out by warping hits. Much better tonight. Thanks for the meeting everyone involved.
