Yes well done to all the winners. I enjoy ippy even though it's tarmac as the racing is really close and there's enough space to put a good hit in without destroying the car in front, like wedgeway. I was pleased with my final and GN after a bit of a disaster in the heats. Spent a while working out what does what in the setups during the day and was within a tenth or so of the quick guys on tarmac so that was encouraging.

My FF sometimes goes very strange halfway through a race, it becomes really heavy and doesn't react to bumps. I have to unplug the mains lead and plug it back in to sort it out.

Yes was a very smoothly run meeting, the pings tonight were noticibly lower than the last few weeks for me at least. I got quite a few points without really doing much to be honest, lucked into a few 3rd places.

You sure the firewall is turned off? Vista firewall sees 1255 as a different program to 1150.

Hi, You need to be on v1255. If you've got an illegal copy of the game the patch won't work. No idea on the second question I'm afraid!

You'll certainly be able to buy the parts cheaper than yoyotech, but microdirect in particular are notorious for poor customer service, especially returns and advertising products they don't actually have in stock. Glancing at their site I can't see any pre-built systems which offer anything like value for money. Ebuyer are safer bet if you're just buying parts, but they won't build you a system. Yoyotech have won all sorts of awards recently, their staff use their forums and they'll offer advice on matching components.

Have a look at yoyotech (ignore the stupid name) for prebuilt systems that actually use proper gaming components at reasonable prices.

Unless you're Hutch. I think we should have a 10 minute session before each meeting where any new drivers have to prove they can manage 5 laps or so at race pace.

I didn't want to sound negative earlier, so I'll try and make it constructive. I'm very grateful that the rFactor mod will have a proper league, but I suspect the above decision will compromise both rfactor and heat, rather than make people want to race in either or both. I cant imagine there'll be many people who have the time/inclination to race in both series on the same night - most of us can't race from 7-11 (which is the realistic timeframe), so you might as well have a more normal start time and run both leagues at 8pm. I know for a fact I won't be able to make most of the 7.30 meetings, so what's the point in me racing at the 9pm meetings? It's not like I'll be able to challenge for any points titles and I'll probably never go up a grade due to not racing enough. At the very least it should have been put to the public to get an idea of the reaction I don't mean to cause offence, but the people who've made this decision are likely those who are able to dedicate more time to this than most of us, so it may not be an accurate representation of the general consensus. We do pay for the servers after all.

It's good that we've got two leagues, best way forward in my opinion. Personally I will struggle to make 7.30 some weeks, bit too early.
