To start a big thanks to Mr Wells an Ben with helping me with my Skin pack issues. A big thanks to all the Admin tonight for a meeting well run on a track that to be fair only us week in week out nutcases will race. I Wish I could go down the road of every hit but the list would be far too long so I will say I'm just happy with a win an any other points I picked up. Heats didn't go well to the point of I was going to just abandon the rest of the meeting but lucky for me I didn't. I just get freezing every so often at the starts. I have found the when it happens I have steam game advertising running in the background. I would probably think after a reboot of the PC it would be ok?

Does anyone have any old signs they don't want either f1 or f2 as I'm wanting to do a new f2 skin but I'm stuck on making signs as they all just keep going pear shaped from start to finish. Cheers Danny.

Happy to get 2 more wins under my belt from yellow. struggled after the heats with what semt to be flat tyres in the final an gn but cant win em all I guess. There was some great racing tonight for such a small track. I had a good battle with lloydy in heat 5 which I enjoyed as much as a win as it proved to me people can race with out having to flat out bury people.

The name you use to log into Ukdirt will be what you would use. I use DanW-17 in r factor as my login name is Dan W so it is not you're forum name but you're ukdirt login name. As that would be the name that shows when you book into race.

Well done to Dan on the European Reece for winning the Final an top scoring. Sorry if I wiped any one out tonight I blame my setty. It seems to be hit an miss with either to much grip or none at all with no mid point. A big thanks to Jake, Stumpy an all the rest who helped for another seamless meeting.

Laptop or pc? As I said earlier we had problems with the sky router it would work fine for normal tinternet but as soon as any upload was used it went all down hill from there. But not too far down the road at work our internet has been poor for the last few weeks dropping in an out.

Just tried to do the one of the Dirt stages on the online bit an had major Lag to a point where I got full game freeze an then it put me when it unfroze at the bottom of a hill with 99% damage. The game did say it had not been recorded an it would not be uploaded to racenet. It wouldn't let me restart the stage tho. Anybody had owt like this?

Thanks Mav an Ritzo. I think I might have had a rub of the luck tonight. To take my 1st win from Yellow not including W+y's or B finals is a great feeling then to get my 1st final win and get points from the lap down in the GN topped it off with a big cherry on top

I am happy with how I did as I have struggled in the tooz hence the white grade To be on the front row in the Final was way more than I expected but I was there an I had to try an make the most of it. I didn't an Skinner was gone an so was I in the 1st corner. I was moved wide an the big train came through by the time I got back up to pace I was 13th but nowt new for me back there lol. I will hold my hand's up an say sorry to Jack in the final as I was a little to eager to get to the line. I run with the name tags on an at times it fails to show some cars for some reason. As to the back marker thing Racing is racing 1st v 2nd yes even 7th/8th but 1st v 11th 12th 13th isn't it just means you are being passed cos you are slow or you had a pile up but either way in my little world you should just slip a little wide. When I'm in that position if im being lapped by a white top or red it is still the same just slip a little wide slip back in an follow a lot can be learnt line wise. Back to the point I let you Go Go Go Dan so you could have a WIN as I took most of em lol

Well I've just done my run only for it to end on the very last sector with a big roll down the side of the mountain. Up until that point it was probably my best run yet with very few mistakes no damage an to be fair pretty fast but it only takes 1 an it has cost me dearly. I seem to be getting the hang of this now but I'm still tweaking wheel settings ect an the handbrake seems to be getting much better by the event. Cheers for setting this up Grasser an putting in you're time, some times it's nice to turn right lol

If you press Shift+Tab in game to get to Steam then go onto Guides/Modding or configuration an the wheel settings bit is in there as well as many more tips on car setup.

Regarding the wheel settings, are there any recommended settings for the ffb ect or is it just all down to personal preference? I did see a post about G27 settings but as it was stated it was a starting point an all down to personal preference. If you check on the steam page I think it was on there where I saw it. I had an hour last night an I think the best car I have drove to date is the Stratos. It handles well an is pretty fast. Danwrighty17.
