there will only be one version of Donington on Luckys Files site (linked from the outlaw site) so we'll use what you'd call the 'default' version lol (i'll check the details in a mo) avoid 1.80 patch there seems to be a Norton conflict issue with it somewhere - we'll be using 1.72e and checking the replays for corner-cutters Outlaws site here Track download here -

hi Shaddy, Just to let you know i'm building up the new skinpack for rods this weekend coming, so while i will happily include your new car, can i ask that a) people don't take this car without the rest of the skinpack (we all need to be on the same version) b) use a novice clio next weekend for Donington (there are 2 in there - red and blue) cheers in advance ....... Wrighty -
lol lucky you....i must admit i left yesterdays meeting very disappointed after getting bunched into the fence in the rods final and various squeezes onto the kerb etc in the heats, but i think this was peculiar to this track, and thankfully this was the first (and hopefully) last time the driving got over-zealous. Best wishes Joker and Lee, the racings still good fun so we'll press on regardless cheers ........ Wrighty

gd gd - if you can add that to an allowed program list, or set its privileges in the same way that you did for Mirc, that should see you able to connect. also, if you have the option to set IP addresses as trusted (not or less firewall protected), is to add the two addresses for Jolt into that list too. i'm sorry i cant be any more specific, i'm not a Norton user - any Nortoneers able to explain how to set up for heat please?
-
again, thats a firewall issue, so allow 2-way access for a file called heat.bin the filepath for mine is C:\Documents and Settings\user (or whatever your username is for the PC)\Local Settings\Temp (heat.bin's in that folder). Also check the firewall log for any blocked attempts by the programme to access the 'net and clear those if there are any. you may need to go into tools>folder options and select ' show hidden files and folders ' in the view files tab to find the file to allow it. think thats it m8 ....... cya soon ......... personally, i'm not sure whether this is the right way to go tbh. F2s have always had a more active technical side for me, with many interesting ideas popping up on various cars through the years (i remember there was a healthy debate on our old rsc forum about IRS on F2s last year). There can't be that many donor cars left for solid axles now, and finding halfshafts, CW&P sets etc doesnt get easier as the time passes (its never changed btw - i spent plenty of saturday mornings with my old man cutting the front end off Triumph Heralds for the car lol). I'd rather see F2s have a bit of freedom on the chassis and drivetrain, with tighter control on the tyres and engine to keep the costs in check. twopennorth offered, i'll away lol ........... Wrighty
