i'm gonna go through the drivers text and check all entries but i'm fearful that we've reached some sort of drivers limit - might be time for a rods car manager <gulps> i'll have something sorted for testing asap

While i understand that that does work Ernie, i've noticed that one of the websites offering a link to 'essentials' also offers a link to a nascar heat 1.1 demo - its possible that this will include the UI that can then be used by the mods for the copying thereof (try here). My understanding is that the essentials in itself is more of a toolbox that allows you to run Heat mods......the demo is like nascar heat without the US tracks and paintskins etc included so it might be worth trying the essentials with the demo THEN installing a mod to see if thats where it recovers the UI from. hope this helps........... Well, twas my/our (as in me Ballbreaker and the bairn) first visit to Cowdie and it certainly won't be the last....... i was completely blown away by the track, and especially by the saloons - they tell me it was slightly tame but i was slack-jawed watching them F2s were great too, as were the rods and the atmosphere for the saturday night (scottish champs race for F2s) was better than some World Finals i've been to so congrats to all for that. Great to see some old faces again, esp Cod, Albz, Hack, Fozz, Prydie, Mac, Pedz and 'ol two hands and a map' Mek and glad to meet Korizin for the first time too....... awesome stuff all weekend and cheers again to Chewigi (rofl) and Kel for excellent hospitality, many many thanks cheers all, i'll not forget this weekend for a while   thnx ..... Wrighty ps - forgot to mention, many thanks to Gary Black and Chas Bain for the time offered over the weekend, and many congrats to Chas on his Scottish championship win in the rods.....apparently part of the 'prize' is the opportunity to join the annual wintertime trip to South Africa for the rods   well done m8, great jobÂÂÂ

Knobby, did you install all 3 of the mod files from the site? version 1, version 2 and the 2.1 update? I don't remember a diskglow.mod file ever being mentioned for v2, so i'm assuming its a v1 file, if not an original Nascar Heat file?
