damn my lateness ..... all the best m8 hope its been a good day for you

yep happy to help Lakey re: teams - the 6 member format might be useful if we use 3 from each team per race for races of 12 and run 2 races at each track maybe? That'll give us an 16 heat format if we do the split teams at all tracks then swap it round for a second set of heats.......pick your best 3 for the finals (or run 6 + 6 for top 2 teams in main final then other 2 teams in a B final?) the combinations are endless.....just ask Nick M 2nd July looks good for me atm too.......  (not sure whether Coventry's on that night mind....perhaps a track-chaser can confirm this? - volunteers with a free date may be required as we go on)

Courtys hit the nail on the head there i think NZ - Waikaraka? Eng - Wimbo Scotland - Newtongrange Holland - Sint Maarten as he says just a thought but thats 2 clockwise, 2 anti-clockwise with plenty of potential imho Lakey for England Captain

did you install the no-cd multipatch and the 1.72e patch?

not sure about this without seeing the end of the log Parky, but as cunny says its loading Nheat resources for F1 - have u imported the F1 UI into bangers? if thats not the case, and if you're getting a heat.bin error, i'd probably be looking at a re-install of the mod launcher if you're using one in the first instance......hope it isnt a nascar heat re-install m8 (tho if it persists its less painful than a format) sorry i can't be more help - if u get the log look for the double line at the bottom ============================================ it'll look like this ============================================ cheers - this might be one for Dino (the uber-fixer )

how many?? did you put the right year in m8? best wishes, have a great day m8

i'd go along with this too - i use zone alarm and if you set heat.bin (usually in a temp folder in your documents and settings area - do a hard drive search for heat.bin but its not the PF (prefetch) file, its a bin file) with full access rights in and out (for ping responses) heat works great for me without disabling ZA, both for private and Jolt servers. I have the firewall turned off (i.e. low setting) for trusted sites only, those being our network connections behind the router and my own LAN port on the machine - therefore i can serve for me and BB on the other machine with a 0 ping cheers ......... Wrighty

James is right, the 80.43 is the internet IP, the 192.168's are your network addresses - each machine on a network usually has an address of between 192.168.0.2 and 192.168.0.255, because .0.1 is the address of the router/gateway (i.e. gateway out). The Netgear router does have an inbuilt firewall, so thats probably restricting your ability to host to the outside world - log into your router as you did to set the internet connection to see how to disable the firewall. (we got a netgear too but never were the hosting types - its brilliant for everything we asked of it )

Happy Birthday m8 hope you have a good day (unlikely not to seeing as i think he's in the USA watching outlaw sprint cars atm )

check that you have PSP set to accept PSD files too (look for 'file associations')

hmmm thats an odd un m8 you using the Nascar Heat Essentials? - the double-writing for the connection types seems to indicate a corruption of some sort but i'm not sure from there tbh
