know what u mean (i think, i'm still doing my textspeak GCSE atm ) but diskglow.mod isnt part of the rods mod (i've just had a look at the UI and part.res) so i'm 99% sure it comes from the original Nheat install - as mentioned previously, go here for the demo install and try subbing those files in. i can't suggest any more really but its not a 'mod' fault

have you uninstalled and reinstalled since this post? - if you're using NHessentials you might be missing it there - try the demo installation and conversion described in the Heat Newbie guide here

(assuming you're on xp) click start, then go to all programs, accessories and open the command prompt window there. type cd then the folder your skins in, make sure as mentioned that mktex is in the folder too and away u go

lol not quite m8, i seem to remember that the Mask (creator of essentials) was in negotiation with Hasbro, as he did get official help previously from them while creating the 1.80 patch. There is an instruction here - go to the newbie guide under the nascar heat sub-heading on converting your nascar heat demo to the full game (basically the difference between the demo and the full game is the carset, some tracks and features like the in-built skin painting bit), so unless you've got a nascar heat CD a good read thru there might enable u to set up the demo, convert it to full-ish spec for installation of mods. best wishes ..........
