Have been meaning to add my setup to this topic. Not the best pic. Should look better when i finally get my G27 - got half the funds!
-
WD Mav - the trick with places like that is to slow down. I were hardly on the throttle over 50% for most of the racing.
-
WD Mike on winning the title & Tom for the points - And of course Mav!! I am slowly getting to grips with racing from the reds but it is taking time. I can prove that I can set good laptimes now but need to be more consistant. See you all next week.
-
WD Dave on your final win. I really struggle on tarmac especially from red. I got caught up too much in the heats and sent to the fence in the final - when i went to hit the brake the cable came out of the pedals and kept the throttle down so hopefully i did not take anyone else out when i came across into the centre green. If anyone could spare me a setup it would be very much appreicated See you all tonight hopefully.

WD Dan - you're on top form but i could of beaten you a few times tonight on the last bend lol. Looking forward to next week - hopefully some more good clean racing.

Does anyone have a nice FWJ Racing sign that they can share with me?

Thanks for explaining this drumb. With my current chassis i find it hard to keep consistant laptimes. I spent last night on every shale track and found that i prefered a certain chassis. I feel more comfortable and consistant with it so a chassis change could be on the cards.
-
I know what you mean drumb. So its the view that you prefer and not the chassis lol I just found it strange that i can try another car and beat the times i set with the car i have been racing and using all year.

Thanks Mike. Unfortuantly i am at work...if thats what you call it when i spend my time on here lol I am having a few days off soon so i can give you a shout and if your available we can give it a go. Glad to hear some of the top guys use the sidewinder - mine is 10 year old and still going strong. I don't think i am far off but some tracks i just struggle with. Last night i tried a few different shale chassis's and found that i could control the car better on some tracks where i struggle with my current one. Does anyone else find this? Something to do with the way everything infront of you (mirrors, bonnet scoop etc) is displayed infront. Might be that I need to find a chassis i am comfortable with.

Thats great. Thanks very much.

I am creating a set of skins for a new member who would like the santander sign (as attached) on the side of his cars. Can anyone help me? I need the sign creating and be able to change the background colour as required. If you get what i mean. Thanks in advance.

I have been racing and practicing a lot with the F1's this year but always seem to struggle on getting the F1's to grip. On tarmac when powering down the straight i can gently apply the power but i think i always get the setup too low or high geared and never find one where I can keep up with the guy in front. When entering the corners the car seems to push on too much no matter what I change on the setup and I just seem to slid too much. Do you think it could be down to driving style or am I missing a setup that needs changing. On shale it is mainly on getting the grip when applying the power – tried applying slowly but then the guy in front has increased the gap. I am still puzzled how the top guys can go to any track and still hit top times. Hat off to you if you can do that. The last question is would a G27 wheel compared to my sidewinder improve all this? Any help, advice would be appreciated.

Does anyone else find that you can handle different chassis's better than others? I have been racing with the shale smith chassis but found i'm quicker with the stu or fwj chassis.

Ok Dave - i thought that if you could still book out on the website it would be ok.

Noticed that I were on the mi. I had booked out on the website so no messer strikes for me please.
