Hi. A few meetings ago someone gave me a code for the UKDirt Secure Chat. I seem to have wrote down the wrong code that I was given. Is there anyone that can remind me what this is or re issue it? Thanks.

On sim stox they run it on rfactor. I have had a few practice session on them and they are good. The problem there is that they run on a Saturday night.

I live in York and get 18MB download with Virgin and 1.5 MB upload.

Good advice Hutch. It is amazing sometimes how much faster you are in a race than practice. At the last meeting I practice for 300-400 laps, then during the race i improved the average laptime by .100 of a sec and then the fastest lap was nearly .200. Definatly get on the servers when possible.

Unfortuantly i dont think i can race this weekend - shame as i love the belle vue oval. Unless i make it, see you guys next week.

I have been racing for a 1.5 years now using a old sidewinder wheel that must be over 10 year old. With that i've been to blue grade with F2's and f1's and red with another mod not on here. a few things i have learnt are; 1. less is more - dont aim to the be the fastest. Take corners slower and tight to the kerbs and you can easily be quicker. 2. Again, dont try being the fastest - a good consistant time goes along way. 3. Be very smooth especially with the F1's. Slowly apply the power and same with brakes, being smooth can also knock that time down. 4. Having a setup from a fast guy may not make you any faster. Everyones driving style is different. Like the guys have said above, use the defaults and then make small tweaks as required.

Thanks Tosh - I have been leading races on the other league and had backmarkers get in my way and i know how bad it is. I really need to get some better setups though. One thing - i'll definatly be back racing here - if you'll have me lol. WD Mor for topping the points.
