First venture into this, and only my first few hours on the game so was taking it pretty easy. Not much to report other than a misheard pace note in Greece that led to a comically massive off... and a messy final stage after I saw I was on course to (temporarily) lead the standings and got too excited. It's amazing how much more focused/concentrated I was for this league stuff rather than against some poxy AI for credits. Very good fun, cheers Grasser. As for the thoughts setup-wise... nah... although I'll happily blame that ignorance for all the mistakes I made. Also, I'd love to know how a WRC Fiesta sticks to wet tarmac quite so well.

We're starting to move towards the more serious end of the season, and first up is the European Championship this Thursday (23/07/15) at Northampton International Raceway. European Championship: The top 22 available (booked) drivers in the National Points will qualify. The grid is closed grades with highest National Points at the rear. The European Championship is a 22 car race, 25 laps, run before the meeting. The 2015 European Champion is entitled to the red and yellow chequered roof until the 2015 European Championship. The 2014 champion LiamB #90 currently looks unlikely to make the grid, currently residing in 41st position in the National points table (by virtue of only having raced twice this season). Former champions eligible to take to the grid include just DanSkin #236 and LeeK #39, so odds are we will crown a new European Champion come Thursday night! Thanks for the kind words. Was steady away in the heats, a bit of luck at the start of the final to immediately get clear... and then just had to bring it home safely from there. Sowwy.... Don't be sorry, you made a decisive move to win it. All 4 wheels on the track, not a follow in, no wall-riding, and but for the parked cars I doubt I would have even hit the fence - a good race and a well measured hit in my opinion. Not that I enjoyed it! Having watched the replay I do have to apologise to Wardieee - in my haste to recover my rejoin from the car park in turn 1 and 2 was rubbish.
