  1. Just today, infact only recently I removed the post. It had been left to stand for some time whilst I queried our position with the rest of the General Admin Team. In the end, our policy - a part of the UK Dirt Forum Rules will still stand in relation to rFactor & mod leagues - in that no advertising of other leagues will be permitted on these boards. To quote from the rules... Links to tracks drumstick has posted are still available within this forum, and I'm sure a number of people could provide you with links, or the member in question if you contacted them directly. Anyone who's thread (i.e. the thread starter) has been removed, has been informed and as to why.
  2. Happy Birthday for tomorrow Kev! Hope you have a good day.
  3. http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?I...ingham%20Wheels Check out the "Download Links" section of the page and get it in game. The version there currently is not an installer, don't fret - just extract it to you rF folder. This version of the track is different to that used on Sunday night! DELETE ANY OLDER VERSION, AND THE RELATED HAT FILE BEFORE INSTALLING THIS VERSION! The UK Dirt rFactor server will have this version of Birmingham on it. Thank you Jeff, and all the rest of the guys.
  4. I actually sent you a serial number just 5 minutes after you sent your two emails to me... and in fact before you posted this thread! If for some reason there is a problem, there is access to chat through the UK Dirt website...

    Meeting?

With a view to the long term future of the UK Dirt F1 racing it had been my intention to start organising Series / Mini Series using this mod. At the moment I am working shifts, so it's unrealistic for me to set anything going over the next month or so. Likely I would look to run something more over late autumn / winter - this would probably allow a bit of time for a fuller release and a few more tracks to join the ranks too. As for here and now - I doubt there would be objection if someone wanted to submit a request to General Admin to use the server for the part of the evening and have some "meeting formatted racing" which I agree would add a different element to testing - seeing how you get on under pressure! That said I make this wild claim without consulting any of the other General Admin members, so don't hold me too it until you check... Please do remember though it's a Beta release so the guys are looking for plenty of feedback, so don't forget to stick anything that comes to mind in a thread on here somewhere for them...
  6. Happy Birthday Sir! Enjoy your BBQ...
  7. Just a quick note to let people know that (when a meeting is not on) for the time being Jolt 3 will be running rFactor F1 Stockcar Beta (Sexberium and Ipswich Tar/Dirt). It's obviously a dedicated server, and is open to all UK Dirt members (password, etc on the the usual server page on the UK Dirt website), so you need to know some of the commands in case you're in the server and no-one knows what to do.... You will find a ReadMe.chm file in your rFactor directory, if you want a full run down, but I will summarise the key points. The IP will be the same as usual for Jolt 3 if you want to access it that way, or it should show up on the in game list anyway. Rather than anyone being able to change track - as on Heat, a vote must be called for... For example /callvote nextrace // proceeds to next event in dedicated server track list /callvote event <name> // proceeds to given event (such as "24 Hours of Toban" or "Mills Special Event") /callvote restartrace // restarts the race /callvote restartweekend // goes back to practice In the event that someone in the server has a * next to their name - they're the server admin (up to 3 are allowed at any one time) - read the readme and you'll find out more, but basically as I understand it only they can then call votes when present (which are immediately passed).
  8. Congratulations to Nezza and Mrs Nezza... and all the best for the future!
  9. Could it be that somehow the settings have changed and the sheets have become protected (can lead to not being able to change data, etc.. Try... Tools > Protection > Unprotect sheet (it does it by sheet alone, not the whole collection of them) If unprotect sheet isnt an option there then this isn't the problem
  10. Hi, Firslty - I am currently receiving all mail for MC & general admin - so if that is where you sent it, I haven't got it, is it possible you could re-send it? Secondly - do you mean a registration code for MiRC - or do you mean the chat password - if so, this can be found on the www.ukdirt.co.uk website..

  12. Hi chaps, Got myself a new PC lately (still running both side by side for a while at least). Key Bits Processor - AMD64 Athlon X2 4600+ 1Mb cache Memory - 2.0GB DDR 400mhz (2 x 1GB) GFX - NVidia GeForce 7950GX2 PCI-E 1GB DDR3 Dual DVI/TV The Problem Heat installed, fine, as do the mods, they start fine. I thought everything was fine, until last Thursday & Friday night racing - the game plays fine for 20mins or so, then gets more and more choppy. Until the point where it becomes unplayable with screen freezes getting longer and more regular (every second or few seconds). I have tried: - running the game on dual core, or either core singularly. - running in compatability modes. - combinations of the above. The results being no help with the problem, and the introduction of the sound problems (i.e. played at superspeed). I haven't tried: - running the game long enough to see if it crashes (I will try this tomorrow while bangers are on) For info - I have other (more recent...) games installed, which are running fine & for long periods of time. I'd be grateful for help/suggestions/ideas anyone has. I will post crash log results (if there is one) tomorrow. Also, it's a long time since I've had an up-to-date PC, so any "setup" tips for best performance would be appreciated...
  13. Thanks splinter nice video, and a great insight into that first bend!
  14. Good luck Albz - I hope everything goes smoothly, you and the family settle down well in NZ and make a great life for yourselves! Never met you in person (same goes for most uk-dirters...) but we've had some cracking races over the last few years and you've always been a real character around UK-Dirt. Much the same as MoR you've been around since I started out, a real pillar of the community - it's been a pleasure racing with you, and it's a shame to see you go. All the best over there, and don't be a stranger to UK-Dirt eh?
  15. I'm getting this at the moment too, assuming its not something I've done as it worked fine last night, and i haven't touched it since... (?)
