Very smoothly run meeting I thought, top job fasttrack. Well done to Harmen for picking up 2 heats, the final and top scoring - could be a very profitable month from yellow! For me the racing was difficult, I'm not a big fan of the track because of the evil logs on the infield which people always seems to end up bouncing off... normally to the detriment of other cars around them! Overall though, very enjoyable evening, people seem to have really gotten into the swing of things and we're getting some very fair and competitive racing. Particular respect is due to some of the newly promoted drivers who have leapt up the grades - putting in solid performances still. Some pictures from the final again... unfortunately, again, BigAl won't feature in these... but Matty has been so kind as to provide his own beautiful shot of our B-Final winner!

Have to say I thought last night was going terribly wrong. Didn't finish the first two heats, no-ones fault just bounced off of cars wrong and was out. Was again, completely out of it in heat 3, but kept going just to run some laps. Knew the final would be different starting closed grid, but didn't expect the result. Helped a lot that Tom and Drumb kept switching positions behind me, although Tom had a damn good go on the last bend. Ta for meeting.

Thought this was a very tough meeting, all went very wrong for me at the start of the final. Very clean racing though, just difficult to make progress and keep it! New grades for the next meeting though, so that should certainly mix things up! Some pictures from the final again this week.

A very tough meeting I thought, thanks for running it Mike. Well done to Hoggy for taking that final win and picking up points from the handicap in the grand national, some very impressive and composed driving. Some pictures again.

UKDirt F1 Stockcars - Coventry - 8:30PM - 29 March 2012 World Championship Qualifying Round 3 On to the fourth meeting of the 2012 season this week, at Coventry. The first of the World Championship Qualifying Rounds to be held in 2012 (following two at the end of 2011 season) - travel#365 currently leads the table with 91 points, although he is yet to put in an appearance this season. Defending World Champion Mike#1 sits in 5th place so far and no doubt will be looking to improve, Fasttrack#527 leads the way for the blues in 8th position on 44 points, Gary#131 is the highest yellow in 16th place with 21 points and jakie#33 is the best of the whites. Once again a reminder that for 2012 we have adopted a new meeting format. Drivers will each race in 3 heats, and there will not be any consolation races - the number of qualifying finalists is determined by the 'track limits' outlined in the rules. Meeting Finals will be gridded based on national points totals, and Grand National races will have no pre-set graded grid. Hopefully we can keep above the 30 car mark once again!

A decent meeting I thought, the tarmac affords some more confidence in where people can put their car - to make a corner, or a hit. Very entertaining. Thanks RM and stewards.

UKDirt F1 Stockcars - Northampton - 8:30PM - 22 March 2012 Tarmac Masters Qualifying Round 1 Whites and Yellows Round 2 It's the third meeting of the 2012 season this week, taking us to Northampton International Raceway. Defending Tarmac Masters champion TomD #112 will kick off one of his title defences in the first of six qualifying rounds! Thursday is also the second of twelve rounds in the Whites and Yellows series, so please note that whites and yellows races are normally planned to run before the main meeting. Last week Chevykiller #184 took the first win in the Whites and Yellows series. Information on points scoring systems for these competitions can be found in the UKDirt F1 rules. Hoping to see a packed bookings list again.

If you're racing from in car view Al, you can set some buttons to look left/right in the controller settings which is often very handy when you're stuck, or even during races.

Added some pics to the results post (and last weeks Sexbierum results post too). For me, similar to last week, was very pleased to see a strong bookings list and very pleased with how most of the racing went (for me and in general). Nice to have the Parkinson's back racing also!
