Well done Gary for the final win on the night, and TomD for taking the Scottish. Thanks for both the meetings folks! For me, fairly painful to finish up tied and decided on wins, nothing much more I could do about it, no more places I could of easily gained from any race I don't think. A couple of very interesting tactical / decisive moves over the two nights... and some truly great, close racing with Tom during the Cowdie meeting.

UKDirt F1 Stockcars - Coventry - 8:30PM - 21 June 2012 British Championship World of Shale Round 4 Whites and Yellows Round 7 The first big title up for grabs in 2012 sees us at Coventry Stadium for the British Championship. Defending champion DanSkin #236 will be in attendance, hoping to keep hold of his black and white chequered roof for another season. Last year’s runners up Grasser #233 and Dode #151 are also likely to be in attendance - Grasser having been recently downgraded to yellow roof has the potential to have a stellar evening, while European Champion Dode would be looking to add some more chequers to his roof in his quest to regain superstar status! TomD #112 currently sits atop the national points while Harmen #262 holds the fourth superstar position, and it’s fair to say that both would expect to be in contention for this title. Dodge #560 and Stoxjack #249 had a good grading period at blue to secure upgrades to red in time for this event. While Leek #39 and Tinman #48 dropped down to blue - potentially putting themselves in the ideal position to pick up places in the heats and secure a good grid position. As ever, the grid is formed in points order from 5 heats each on the night, with the highest scorer on pole. Because of the number of heats there will not be any Grand National race(s) at this meeting. In addition, this Thursdays meeting is the 7th round of the Whites and Yellows championship. Samwit #254 still leads the way on that front but remains ineligible to race due to his current grade. A steady run of performances puts rickyljames #237 in the driving seat then in 2nd place with the possibility of taking over the lead after this round, spike #221 follows closely in 3rd. WD Tom top scoring and thanks admin for meeting. Pleased to pick up some really good wqr points... thought I was going to have a problem again when I spun myself before I even crossed the line in my first heat! Thought it was decent racing most of the night, but maybe that's because I managed to sneak through a few gaps that others did not. 25 / 26 car all in races are a real challenge, but the cars have bumpers/nerfs on all 4 sides for a reason... if you can get away with it.

Very entertaining meeting, particularly the final and allcomers! Well done Skeet.

After a stinker on the Sunday night I don't understand why this meeting panned out so differently, but certainly no complaints. I was on a run / pretty heavy handed in the third heat, but enjoyed trying a completely different way of making progress. Didn't really think any of the hits were too over the top, but it certainly spiced up my racing for the rest of the evening. Thanks admin!
