If you are using photoshop (i dont know about PSP), if you click on 'layer' on the tabs at the top of the screen, then 'layer style', then 'blending options'. If you mess about with the Bevel & Emboss settings a bit, you can make the 'chiseled' effect. [attachmentid=13433] If this is the effect your after, all I did was, in the Bevel & Emboss settings, change: Style: Inner Bevel Technique: Chisel hard or soft Depth: 1000% Size: (depending on how big your sign is) usually between 2 and 5 Soften: 0 Shading Angle: Angle: about 135 degrees, Altitude: 0 Highlight mode: For best effect: White, Screen, opacity: 100% Shadow mode: For best effect: Black, Multiply, opacity: 100% Hope that helps, Kruiz Edited February 11, 2007 by Kruiz 136 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
