Was hoping to go better than last years 11th place finish starting from the back but early damage put a stop to that. Mixed meeting for myself, enjoyed nearly every race apart from when one idiot decided to strike. Mav Posted September 26, 2014 Report Share Posted September 26, 2014 Having always watched the live stream on a laptop without sound, I was surprised to tune in (After the World Final) and hear Grasser and Hooty? + others doing a commentary on the racing. I thought it was fantastic! It really added something to the live stream and I ended up just watching the stream rather than the TV It got me thinking as to what the commentary would be whilst I was racing and wondered if the stream was ever recorded for playback afterwards? I have always been interested in what the views of others were of races as you only see it from your perspective. I really did like the conversation regarding the Whites & Yellows Championship - It was spot on Anyway, Well Done Grasser & Co, a brilliant idea well executed, a massive bonus to those of us who are not able to attend for one reason or another, ie It's not a W&Y round! lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When it's all uploaded I can send you a link if you wish mav. I think it takes a few hours to process Yes Grasser and Jake did a brilliant job commentary wise. If its streamed I always watch it after the meeting, its nice to view the racing from a different angle, but usually I skip race to race. I watched the whole thing this time start to finish, was an excellent idea and I think if its possible, to do it more in the future. On the first lap I thought I had done well to survive turn one and was turning my mind to getting to race Tom when it all went wrong in turn three. In the end, pleased to claw back to second place in the WF and take the meeting A-Final. Also, a massive thank you to Grasser, Jake, Oscar, Tom, Jamie and everyone else who chipped in with the stream and commentating. rickyjames237 Posted September 26, 2014 Report Share Posted September 26, 2014 I agree boostman385,ive only just watched the video & i was shocked that i had a decent shale meeting for a change,which i drove really well & nice to hear ny name mentioned while i was leading the final,which the people commentating on the race was very surprised with me.i was well chuffed with 6th place,cause i hardly get points the final & i hope theres more to come.i fully enjoyed the last bend hit in the gn on Oscar for 8th by going into the bend & using the side bumper to shove him over to go through. Just like to say well done tom d for retaining his gold roof,wd to danskin winning the final,thanks for the meeting admin & to those people involved for doing the video & what a great commentary. I really surprised myself on how well I did & its not very often i score more than 20 points in a meeting,so to get 25 points is a bonus & that will probably keep me at yellow grade now even thou i got 0pts last 2 meetings in a row,which ive not been myself & not had enough sleep & lack of confidence.
