Good meeting and cheers to kev for running meet and being steward of races.

Overall happy with a 6th in the euro for a 1st time in a big title race on rfactor,leading near end until back markers cost me but thats racing and really happy with my 1st win even if it was only in a consilation (sorry bad spelling).

Only two things that really done my head in was the ott hitting from some folk (not naming names),they need to be told to calm down abit as its just wrecking folks races.

Another was folk that spun pulling out in front of folk without thinking,surely you have an eye sight thats good enough to see folk coming ? Sorry if I sound like I am ranting but it does get annoying for folk at times.

Anyway good meeting as I say,roll on next week.

I have sent 0.6 out to a few people and everybody has come back positive for this working, so fingers crossed, it will be the same for everybody.

 

PLEASE NOTE: THERE WERE TWO INSTANCES AFTER INSTALLING THE NEW TRACK WHERE RFACTOR CRASHED WHEN TRYING TO LOAD 0.6 FOR THE FIRST TIME. HOWEVER, AFTER LOADING THE GAME AGAIN, THE TRACK THEN WORKED PERFECTLY.

 

Before you install version 1.6, make sure you do the following:

- Delete the NIR folder from C:\Program Files\rFactor\GameData\Locations

- Delete the NIR.HAT and NIRHR.HAT files from C:\Program Files\rFactor\UserData\LOG\HAT (if they are there).

 

Failure to do this could cause big problems!

The loading screens are labelled with v0.6, so you can check you have the right one on those.

 

PLEASE NOTE (AGAIN): YOU CANNOT USE THIS TRACK ONLINE UNTIL DANSKIN HAS POSTED BELOW TO SAY THE SERVER HAS BEEN UPDATED.

 

Please report back on your success (or lack of) on getting 0.6 to work ASAP please. I have an alternate version if there are still massive problems, which I can release when I'm home tonight if need be.

If you have never tried rFactor it is definatly worth trying in my opinion. However to be half decent or be non the pace you will need a steering wheel for you computer. I have only done two rfactor F1 meetings as that is how long i have been a paid up member, and i just cant get enough of it atm, it is definatly superior to heat!

I agree,I am hooked on rfactor and can never keep off it now

Track works fine here on DX 9,graphics card works fine to with it, NVIDIA Geforce 7600 GS and on full detail. Thanks to MOR for making this track,had a few shots this morning and its a awsome track,well done MOR
