Following the incidents and attitudes of some drivers over the past few weeks/months the following rules are being introduced for the remainder of the season. The whole F2 DP structure will be overhauled for 2013. Apart from those drivers currently on a ban, everyone else will get a clean slate from here forward but there will be no second chances. Each individual will be held responsible for their own actions. The following rules will apply from the 24/09/12 1.) Obey instructions If you are asked to do something during a meeting by either the Race Manager, Meeting steward, or any other admin member please do so. If you do not agree with decisions made there is a complaints process that you can pursue after the meeting but during the meeting is not the time to do so. Anyone who is judged to be disrupting a meeting will be loaded up for the remaining races and will face a minimum 1 meeting ban. If you are loaded up from a meeting for a second time this season you will be banned for a minimum of 4 weeks. A third offence will result in the driver being banned for the remainder of the season. 2.) Arguing If a driver has done something during a meeting that you do not agree with there is a full complaints process that you can pursue after a meeting. Arguing in the server or chat will not be tolerated. You will be given one warning before being loaded up for the remaining races and will face a minimum 1 meeting ban. If you are loaded up from a meeting for a second time this season you will be banned for a minimum of 4 weeks. A third offence will result in the driver being banned for the remainder of the season. 3.) Threatening behaviour. Any driver displaying threatening behaviour towards any driver, admin member, or anybody else involved in UKDirt and will get a life ban with no warnings. 4.) Penalties Drivers may appeal any decision. This must be done by providing details of the appeal and any supporting evidence the driver wishes to submit and no other comments. Once an appeal decision has been made any further messages will be ignored and treated as arguing and the rules of section 2 above will be applied. Any drivers who witness an incident may report it to make sure it is investigated. Any admin member may make or comment or a complaint they witness either live or while reviewing replays. Drivers may not comment on incident involving other cars other than to report the incident, which should include the race, replay time and the numbers of the drivers involved. Further messages will be ignored and treated as arguing and the rules of section 2 above will be applied. Any driver booking out after 7:30 will receive a messer strike. 6.) Contact A.) Following drivers in. A follow in will be classed as pushing another car all the way to the fence, or on tracks with wider corners(ie Birmingham) pushing the car the majority of the way to the fence with the sole purpose of causing them to make significant contact with the fence. Any driver that is classed as following another driver in will be loaded up from the meeting and a minimum 1 meeting ban will be enforced. A second offence of following another driver in will result in a minimum 1 month ban. A third offence will result in the driver being banned for the remainder of the season. B.) Fencing Fencing will be classified as hitting a single car hard enough, and with the clear intent that they make contact with the fence. Any driver that is classed as fencing another driver will get a warning, a second offence will result in the driver being loaded up from the meeting and receive a minimum 1 meeting ban. A driver being loaded up for a second time for fencing will receive a minimum 1 month ban. A third offence will result in the driver being banned for the remainder of the season. C.) OTT hits This will cover all other driving offences that are against the sporting, and ethical code the admin team will be enforcing from this point on. These include but are not limited to, Hitting another car flat out, right turning another car in to the wall, left turning another car on to the infield. Right turning another car in the middle of the corner. Any driver that is classed as committing a OTT hit on another driver will get a warning, a second offence will result in the driver being loaded up from the meeting and receive a minimum 1 meeting ban. A driver being loaded up for a second time for OTT hits will receive a minimum 1 month ban. A third offence will result in the driver being banned for the remainder of the season. D.) Parked cars Driving in to a parked car on purpose will result in a driver being loaded up. A second offence will result in a driver being banned for 1 month. A third offence will result in a driver being banned for the remainder of the season. E.) Last corners The above rules will be relaxed slightly for the final lap of the race. However this will only be for legitimate moves to gain position, and not for moves that have no chance to advance your position. Any driver that is classed as committing a OTT hit on another driver in the last corner will get a minimum of a warning, a second offence will result in the driver being loaded up from the meeting and receive a minimum 1 meeting ban. A driver being loaded up for a second time for OTT hits will receive a minimum 1 month ban. A third offence will result in the driver being banned for the remainder of the season. 7.) Practice Although the rules will be slightly relaxed during practice, we would like to remind drivers they are expected to follow the rules at all times. All practice replays, and chat logs are saved and can be reviewed if needed. 8.) Rejoining the track. If you have spun for any reason during a race you must use caution when rejoining the racing line by doing the following. A.) Make sure you have buttons mapped to look left and right so you can see oncoming traffic. B.) Make sure you have your mirrors turned on in game so you can see behind you if you end up nosed up to the fence. C.) Keep your foot on the brake when you are stationary so the car does not roll forwards or backwards in to oncoming traffic. D.) Do not move until you are sure there is enough of a gap in the oncoming traffic for you to rejoin without making contact Any driver that is classed as committing a bad rejoin will get a minimum of a warning, a second offence will result in the driver being loaded up from the meeting and receive a minimum 1 meeting ban. A driver being loaded up for a second time for OTT hits will receive a minimum 1 month ban. A third offence will result in the driver being banned for the remainder of the season. 9.) Damage. If you car has damage you may continue racing until one of the following occurs. A.) You lose 1 or more wheels B.) You have 1 or more punctures that cause your car to behave erratically, or to be out of control. If either of these situations occur you are to park your car around the circuit away from the racing line, where it will not cause an obstruction. Failure to follow the above rules will mean you are removed from the server, and loaded up from the meeting. A second failure will result in a minimum 1 month ban. A third offence will result in the driver being banned for the remainder of the season. 10.) Lining up to race. During a meeting you are expected to start at least one race at the front of your grade, one in the middle and one at the back. Any driver found to be lining up at the front of their grade in each race will be put to the back of the grid. NB. Being loaded up from 3 meetings for three different offences will still result in a driver being banned for the remainder of the season.
